Oh no! What happened to just peanuts and salt!!???
My wife just came home from the grocery store with a a 40 oz jar of Extra Crunchy Natural Super Chunk. I was so excited. Then I checked the ingredients just to be sure it was the same old good stuff because some looked a little different in the labeling. OH, NOOOOOO. It isn't just peanuts and salt. Why did you change such a good and healthy thing???? It has to be about money and profit.

I bought it becasue the label said Natural and EXTRA CRUNCHY! Perfect! NOT! When I opened the jar I realized I should have read the label. It has suugar and Palm oil in it. Natural PB is just Peanuts and maybe salt. SOOOOO Disappointed in you SKIPPY. Lying on the lable. Jeez!

Was loaded with oil to the point was watery. Even good mixing did not help.

I grew up on Skippy Crunchy peanut butter even before it became Super Chunk. As a kid it was totally better than Jiff or Peter Pan in my opinion. I've tried others over the years and they always got relegated to baking ingredients to end up in cookies, cakes or frostings. After 50+ years, I finally found a peanut butter that tastes better than Skippy Super Chunk. It's Skippy Natural Super Chunk. I don't know if they tweaked the recipe more than the oil or if the hydrogen added something to the flavor, but they made a great product better.

When I first started eating this many years ago it truly was natural, just peanuts & salt.. then sugar was added, and now it has palm oil. May as well just buy regular pb.

This product is about 10% sugar (you can do the math from the label). Natural? I suppose by some convoluted definition. But there are lots of choices out there with ONE ingredient.

Skippy Natural Super Chunk is all I have eaten since it was introduced. It is the Best of All. It is the closest to eating a handful of peanuts. Added sugar is minimal, compare labels! If they used peanut oil rather than natural palm oil, the natural oil separation would be much worse. THE ONE THING THAT HAS ME CONCERNED, this product seems to be disappearing from the store shelves. That would be a MAJOR LOSS in my life. People, try out this product, you will be impressed.

We would buy this again if no Palm Oil or sugar added.
We bought a 1.81kg (4lb) jar of this product from our local retail outlet several months ago, however they do not stock it now (not on website) or instore and informed us don't know when or if anymore. Both me and my wife both enjoyed the super crunchy, especially on toast with sliced banana, or with honey, but would enjoy this product more with no palm oil (why not peanut oil...?) and no added sugar or sweetener.

Best Peanut Butter Ever!
I am a huge peanut butter fan and I love this one the best. I have tried them all. I have even tried the organic types. They all fall flat to this one. This has the real peanut flavor and there is really peanuts in this peanut butter! Yes, you have to stir to keep the liquid mixed in, but it is all good.

I will never buy this again
I thought I'd give it a try. I made sure I mixed it very well and the entire thing was just runny. Rather than use a knife to spread it out, I could just about pour it on my bread. As I eat the sandwich, it will just run out the sides. The jelly has more consistency than the peanut butter does! To top it off, it has virtually no flavor. I guess there is a possibility that I got a bad jar that somehow got way too much oil in it. However, I'm not giving it a second chance as I've had great success with other brands.

Be careful with these sometimes! The one I purchased had like a rock or something inside of it and it cracked on my tooth pretty bad! I was afraid it did some damage to my tooth but luckily it didn’t, it did scare me pretty bad though! I don’t know if I’ll be purchasing again!
