This is true quality meets affordability.
I guess you can call this a midrange webcam. I tried other web cams in the $40-$50 that claimed to be 1080p, but they had terrible lenses, terrible sensors, terrible picture quality. Don't mess with the other midrange crap. If you really don't want to spend this much just get a low end, at least then you know what you are getting. This cam looks good in average lighting, is clear and focused. the colors look good. It is built well too. It's just a good product.P.S. As far as mic quality, It has an amazing mic! I still use my own dedicated professional mic, but if the mic is definitely going to do the job for most people.

Great for the price
Honestly I wasnt sure how this was going to work for such a good price. However after many tests its perfect. I have some issues with the auto focus because I use this for recording a Dungeons and Dragons game. So sometimes it starts going crazy focusing on one particular miniature rather than staying focused on the entire board. But with some quick adjustments it works perfectly.

Logitech makes great products, they're like the Apple of computer peripherals. Most of the stuff I've had works well, looks good, is reasonably priced, well made with nice packaging and great support. Since I've never had one of these, I can't compare it. I could have used a cheaper unit but the reviews out there for this one are fantastic. The image quality, color, POV angle, resolution, sound, auto focus and low light performance makes you feel you've got a professional camera man working the controls. I've never had a good photo to post to my LinkedIn, within 10 minutes of this thing being plugged in I had several. One of the main reasons I wanted to get one is my son is in a band and he really needs to start paying more attention to "what it look like". It's a great persona building tool and I gleaned some good tips my first few minutes of 'reviewing myself". There are some fun effects, you can use right out of the box and it sits upright on flat surfaces or it can be affixed to your monitor. In all, it’s a fun and useful device and I can see myself and my son getting some good value from it. Btw, a small multi-angled or flexible tripod will also be very useful.

Finally a working webcam!
I couldn't use Skype for a long time, as I always found the pictures were fuzzy or full of pixels. Sound also was a problem. Now I found this webcam, that was recommended by another user on Walmart, and I decided to follow her. The most complicated part of installing is getting it out of the package, where the cord of the USB connection was somewhat entangled. But other than that, it was a very quick and easy process. Setting up is very easy and its lens gives a very sharp picture. The autofocus feature is apparently somewhat unpleasant on the receiving side, but for myself it was good to see where I was in the picture. I have not yet used the video feature, but I did Skype with it and was very satisfied with both sound & picture. I have not used the mini-tripod that I bought with it either, but that seems a nice additional feature, to have the webcam in a different corner.

Everything is better in HD
Perfect webcam for HD streams. The quality for the cost can't be beat as well as the design of the camera. I bought one of these to use with my laptop at home. I have my laptop off center and it was a little strange to be working on external monitor as the main display and having people think I wasn't paying attention. I solved this by buying one of these cameras and placing at it at the top of my external main display.To me the quality is just as good if not slightly better than the MacBook Pro with Retina's HD camera. I liked this so much I bought one for my second computer that I use in the living room for when family is over to talk with family out of town over Skype.I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a new camera or going to HD. It works fine with both Mac and PCs.

Works excellently for my livestreams
I run a regular "Goodstream" for viewers of my gardening channel on YouTube and this thing has been a huge upgrade from my built-in camera. It captures good video and audio for a good price. It's a little dark unless you have great light at night, but during the day it's very sharp and clear. I added an extra light on my desk and it does the trick. Good camera - would buy again.

i can't say i've been totally happy with almost all of my purchases, especially when it comes to logitech. i've owned their speakers, mice, and keyboards in the past and usually had an issue or multiple with the build quality or utility. but this webcam hits every mark on the spot. even the mic quality is quite good even though i don't have a need for it. the software that can be used to adjust focus, lighting, etc. has plenty of customization, yet still maintains minimalism and clean design. for $50, i can't think of any other options that would give 1080p 60fps video at a better bargain.

Very nice image quality.
Works perfectly at 1080p 30fps with OBS studio. I am using the LimoStudio lighting... Trying to start a youtube channel and don't yet want to fork out the big bucks. Using this along with the LimoStudio Lights for about $50 and the white balance is correctly picked up and the exposure, focus etc. is perfect. I was thinking of using a real 1080p handicam, but I want to streamline my entire flow with everything being done on the computer instead of having multiple sources of video and audio and then copying media from SD cards here and there. I use this with OBS studio and use the Blue Yeti for my audio and it works great.

Logitech HD Pro C 920 Webcam
I really like the new webcam once I solved the initial problems. Since it, like most things today, did not come with a DVD for insulation, since Windows is supposed to handle process, I was unable to get a clear picture with out a lot of flickering. The answer of course was to go to the Logitech website and locate appropriate drivers and down load them. It seemed that when I installed the new webcam my computer saw that I had current software installed, though it was for a different model, and tried to make it due for the C920 telling me I already had the latest Drivers. When I finally simply down loaded the latest for this model specifically everything flew like a big beautiful bird and the C920 works wonderfully well.

I can't say much more than mirror the compliments of other users, this is a great webcam, delivering very clear HD video, don't be confused about the 1080p in skype or whatever its 1080p in anything you want, works wonderfully, Would be nicer if it was 1080p60 but 30fps is MORE than enough for anyone.Definitely can't complain about it, build quality is great, it turned out to be smaller than I expected, the picture makes it look quite large and wide but its in fact only 3 1/2 inches wide and 1 high when on the top of a screen.The stand concerned me as I've used similar styles of stand before and they've been very lightweight and moved about a lot. This quality Logitech product however has none of these issues and sits perfectly on top of my screen, it even has a standard tripod mounting hole on the bottom which I've yet to use but will come in handy shortly.In short, if you're looking for a great webcam, get this!

I've bought three of these in my life. The first was taken by my son because the image was so sharp and clear. The second was taken by my wife because the image was so sharp and clear. This third is mine...for now.Seriously, plug it in and it works. I use Debian Linux and it was true for me. My son and wife are Windows users and they had to deactivate the built-in webcam on their laptops.Maybe newer models are somehow better. But "better is the enemy of 'good enough'." I'm quite happy.

I ordered this webcam to replace my C270, and what an upgrade it is. It shoots in perfect 1080p30hz video. I use it for livestreaming, and it is able to capture better light for when I need to use my greenscreen.When I first received the webcam though, the first thing that I noticed was how much it weighed. It weighs a lot more than any other webcam I have used in the past. That doesn't make it bad though. It is made out of a very durable plastic, and has glass covering the lens.Be sure to not leave any fingerprints on the glass in front of the lens. I did that and there were smudges in front of my video. All it took was a quick wipe down and all was good and clear.The microphone on the webcam is good, but not fantastic. If you're planning on using it for professional purposes other than Skype, then I recommend using an external microphone along with this.Overall a great product.

Wow, excellent! I could see every freckle on my forehead. And wrinkle. (Maybe it's recording TOO well...)Purchased on sale for $49.99, which I think is quite fair. The audio is okay, not as good as the video. I will probably use a different mic for audio, honestly.Set up took no more than five minutes. I installed drivers from Logitech's website with no issues. I also purchased an Walmart basics mini tripod for tabletop setup. This worked well with the camera. (It can also be easily placed on top of a standard monitor.)

Came with manufacturer crack in glass
Webcam came with a crack in the glass, not lens. Looked like a spec at first. Crack was not on the outside part of the glass, so it doesn't seem to be caused by another consumer, but unacceptable for Walmart to send this out without quality checking, and Logitech for manufacturing a crack in the glass.Edit:Contacted Walmart and they're sending a replacement (along with label to return original one). Changing review to match the quality of the product!

Camera is great, Skype is not.
The Logitech camera is great, it was an upgrade from my Microsoft HD Lifecam.The reason I switched cameras is because anytime I was in a full screen game and video chatting on Skype, the video would freeze and Skype would be "not responding" until I re-opened it.I searched everywhere and was told on a Skype forum it had to do with Skype switching between HD and SD, whenever it switched it froze, but only when I was in a full screen game.The recommendation was to try another brand.This new camera does the exact same thing when re-sizing during a video call (when I have a full screen game up), therefore the problem is Skype.Overall probably the best all around camera on the market right now. We use this brand at work as well.

The clarity and quality of the images you get out of this webcam is downright amazing. Couple that with the very intuitive software that comes with it, and you have yourself a very solid product indeed.I am loving the 1/4" mounting hole on the bottom. Careful with it though, if you tug hard enough on the webcam while it is mounted, the mounting screw could come off. Just pop it back in if that happens. (happened one time by accident lol)Best webcam I have used by far!

Great Quality
I did have some setup issues with getting to work with my Mac and the steps to correct weren't clear. Finally, I downloaded s/w for the C920e and voila, fully functional. And the images it captures are vastly superior to my built in camera. Very happy.

I know most of the reviews are 5 star, but I just have to add my own. The picture quality of this camera simply has to be seen to be believed. I've got it hooked up to my late 2013 iMac and it puts the built-in camera to shame! While I have a fully "tricked-out" iMac (at least by late 2013 standards), Apple appears to have gone cheap with the built-in camera. This camera more than makes up for it. Kudos to Logitech - my go-to company for peripherals like this!

This is my second C920. I've had this one several weeks and use it primarily for shooting a web series in front of a green screen and FaceTime. The software included is somewhat more limited for the Mac than it is for PC, but if you take the time to learn the controls, for most of you reading this, it will do. It even has a key feature which works pretty well. I have to remember to launch the application before using QuickTime to do any recording. I haven't done that with FaceTime yet. You can pan, tilt, and zoom. You can adjust levels. It works. And more importantly than anything, the lens is from Zeiss. As someone who has used their prime lenses professionally, I can tell you from first hand experience, the glass is clear and of superior quality. The lens used in this webcam makes this camera superior than all the others anywhere near the price range. Strongly recommend.
