Sun Joe 24V IONMAX Cordless Leaf Blower, Grass and Hedge Trimmer Outdoor Garden Combo Power Tool Kit with Batteries and Charger, 24V-GT4MAX-LTE

I finally was able to use the grass trimmer from my Sun Joe 24V-GT3MAX-LTEkit. Wow! After reading some of the reviews, I was thinking about asking for a refund or selling it. But I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I kept it. I have a spinal injury which got worse after a car accident. I was bedridden for close to a year. So this is my first time trying to do anything in the yard since. We've had lots of rain. I wanted to purchase a more powerful battery and some additional blades. Guess what? Only one light was slightly dim on the battery and I did the front and back. I didn't have much to do on the front, however. The back had a lot including taller grass, plant borders, tomato cages, water hose guides, motion lighting, etc. I was still good. I broke about 2 maybe 3 of the blades after getting too close to the tomato cages several times. Not as hard to put on as restring wire. The trimmer did not pull on my back much. It didn't take me long at all. I even had time to pull some weeds using my new stool. I just need to make sure I keep extra blades just in case. But I'm getting better with that. I did learn that I must remember to keep swinging the trimmer back and forth in order for it to work it's best. Pics show just a couple minutes or less into trimming. I laid the trimmer down beside the grass to show that this was actually what I'd used.

I bought the combo mainly for the blower and trimmer. It is a hit and miss. The blower works great but the trimmer is poorly designed. The plastic blade is weak. When I cut it with long grass, the grass can wrap around the head, and make it useless.

Grass trimmer in this 3-pack is a poor choice. The plastic blades used instead of filament are almost useless. If they touch anything but simple grass blades, they snap. Replacement of the blade also is not a “snap.” The worst of the many Sun Joe products I have.

Cordless Blower & hedge trimmer are great - the grass trimmer is horrible. Blower is powerful enough to move most light grass and leaf piles. Hedge trimmer(HT) surprisingly strong enough to handle thicker branches than expected for such light hedge trimmer. Blower & HT last a good bit on single 2hr battery, but often need a 2nd battery, each, to finish with either blower or HT with @60ft of small (3ft high) bushes to trim and @1/4 acre of grass with 1 medium pecan tree, 1 large magnolia tree, and 5 dwarf fruit trees worth of leaves to blow. When wet, need 3rd battery for blower. I have 4 2hr batteries, so as I'm using one, others charging. Now the grass trimmer...it's just horrible. The plastic blade breaks immediately when it hits concrete, wood or any other hard surface..things that are normally near the grass you are trying to trim. Ran through over half the blades that came with it on the 1st use. The nub that blades attach to is already wearing down so that will eventually be an issue. Can't use to trim next to sidewalk or curb because i would use so many blades it wouldn't be worth it. If there were a replacement head with string on it, that would completely change its usefulness. Thus 2 of 3 pieces of equipment are 5star, grass trimmer get 1star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a woman, I love these products! They are light and easy to maneuver for me and I do not experience muscle fatigue, even after using for a while. The weed eater is good, just make sure you dont touch concrete or metal poles with the blades because it eats them up pretty quickly - luckily they are easy to change. Overall, these products work well for light use. My husband tried making fun of these products but I eventually found him in the backyard using them and he has been grabbing them more than his gas powered tools. The batteries were charged when I received them and I have only had to recharge them once in the month I have had them. I love that the set comes with 2 batteries so my husband and I can use 2 of the tools simultaneously. The cordless function also keeps from having to run cords all over the yard. I used the hedge trimmer and cleaned up my entire back fence and then went out front and trimmed up my entire Chinese Elm and my battery only lost one light. The blower is pretty quiet but still pretty forceful. I have used it to clean up grass, leaves and also wet sand and it handled it all. My daughters also love helping because when done I also blow them off. These really are fun for the whole family... safely of course! The blower recently came in handy when redoing the insulation in our attic - we have the blow in kind and it was all in one area due to some ceiling repairs and it needed to go back into a tight area. My husband took the blower into the attic - which was convenient due to no cord- and blew all the insulation back Into the tight area so he could focus on the open area. I really didn't imagine being able to use a blower for so many things but the battery really gives you freedom. I do have to advise extra caution with the hedge trimmer. I was using it and it cut through a thicker branch and it was falling down toward my leg and my Instinct was to reach up and grab it. The teeth are the perfect width for a woman's finger - makes sense, they are twig sized- to go inside. It got me pretty good. Luckily it stopped and only sliced a V in my finger and the blades were still very sharp due to being new so my finger is healing nice. Just a word of caution for anyone with smaller hands.

The Sun Joe Garden combo is just what we wanted. The blower packs a powerful punch and makes quick work of clearing the deck and patio of leaves, dirt, and other debris. The hedge trimmer is lightweight making it easy to trim even the most difficult of bush. And the weed/grass trimmer is surprisingly powerful and well designed. The combo comes with 2 battery packs so that one can be charging while using the other. Which allows for quick work of those weekend chores. I am very pleased with this Sun Joe product.

This Duo set was very easy to use and it came in very handy for our first yard cut for the season. We like that the manual was easy to read and the items already came assembled all we needed to do was to charge the battery a little bit and it was ready to go. This brand isn't as powerful as the tools that we already have made by different brands but it did the job great. The hedge trimmers were good for cutting down ivy that's growing on our a fence line. I like that it came with replaceable blades and that are easy to replace. The grass trimmers worked really well with cutting down the grass so it wasn't as long. The leaf blower was good for blowing away dirt and small debris. I really noticed a difference after using his duo set and I really highly recommend this product.

My boys really enjoyed doing the yard work. The easy to read manual made it a synch. It already came assembled and ready to go but we charged it up a bit which was really quick. This set isn't as powerful as other brands that we currently use but definitely did the things it's made for. The grass trimmers cut the grass down pretty good. Just make sure no objects are on the ground. The hedge trimmers has a nice amount of replacement blades and are really easy to change out. Just note that they break off fairly easily when over worked. The blower is good for dirt and small debre. We really could tell the difference on our first cut of the season. I would recommend this product to friends and family!

I always love to have tools that easy to interchangeable or coming from same brand with same size of batteries. Easy to install and work great, you got 2 pack of batteries. The cutting/saw tools is sharp, the blower is blowing hard. We do is necessary to have a multitools like this, especially if we run out of gas for our gas tools.

I cannot say enough how wonderful it is to use all of these products without any cords or wires! The jet blower is amazing. I was able to clear six lots of land on one charge. Very powerful. The blower is light and easy to handle. Made cleaning up the leaves a breeze. Grass trimmer is excellent. Much easier to use since it is wireless. I love that is came with many blade replacements. Makes a clean cut, my yard and front look like a professional did the job. We have used the hedge trimmers so far on some magnolia bushes, bamboo and holly. Clean cut which makes for easy clean up and up keep. I am truly a satisfied customer.

When I need to blow off the porch or garage I can grab this blower and make quick easy work of it rather than lugging out the gas blower. The hedge trimmer works well and is nice for a quick trim. The grass trimmer is light enough to use with one hand and does work. My complaint is that it only cuts about a 2” section at a time. It is easier to be more accurate but not generally worth my time with the amount of space I need to cut.

Let's face it, batteries will never approach plug-ins, or gas power, but these packs lasted longer than I was expecting. The blower easily handles my driveway debris while the trimmer destroys the tall grass and weeds. The hedge trimmer was a nice surprise, as I didn't realize how much that pesky cord was always in my way with my old one. And sharp too, no problem getting through my wiry hedges. Sun Joe is definitely moving up my list of go to brands.

I have a couple bushes that i just dread having to trim every few months and it takes forever. With the trimmer i just zip zipped and was done SO easy. They are light weight too and make it easy to move and use and the batteries last a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I have this set from Sun Joe consisting of the Jet Blower, Grass Trimmer and Hedge Trimmer. I love the fact that it is cordless. One day I was out hedging the shrubs and cut the cord with the Corded Hedge Trimmer. Oops. This set works out so much better. I am able to go to an area where I did not have an outlet to plug the cord unless I bought an extremely long extension cord with the risk of cutting another one. I was able to trim all of the shrubs and plants everywhere. It was so delightful and I was very happy with the results. The hedge trimmer is light weight. It also has a protective cover on the blade. The Jet Blower works really well. It is powerful enough to move whatever is needed. It is also not heavy. The Grass Trimmer needs to be put together before use. I like what it can do. This set also includes two rechargeable batteries which makes it very convenient. If one battery dies while using then the second battery can be used. I love everything about this set. You should get one too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I seriously love this garden combo kit so much by Sun Joe that I dont know where to start. I love the fact its all battery powered. It makes life so much easier and safer and its so quick and convienant to charge those batteries. Within an hour of me putting them on the charger, I'm ready to go. The hedge trimmer is super lightweight and cut through my bushes with ease. The jet blower is super lightweight to. I was able to carry it on to my roof and blow off all the tree limbs and leaves. I was able to safely blow out my front porch, side room and driveway. The grass trimmer was the only tool in this kit that does have some cons but the pro outweighs everything to me. I love that it doesnt use string, it has this plastic piece that spins and shortens as it trims. The con for me was I had to do my yard twice to get everything trimmed down as it seemed to trim better when the plastic piece dulled down to a bulker point. Or maybe it was me? I may get better over time using it and it simply was me being a newbie with it. I did feel the battery being up by the handle made it heavy. It may not have been so bad had I done the yard once but having to go back and do it twice, really killed my upper arms. But look at that pro.... I said I did my yard twice. On that one battery and still had battery power left on it when I was done. I took the battery off and put it on the blower, when it finally died, I switched to the second battery and finished blowing and then put it on the hedge trimmer and still could have kept going when I was all done. So having two batteries that have a great longetitivy and where I can get all my yardwork done in one shot, even having to go back, amazing!!!!!!! Yes I highly recommend these products in the garden combo kit. My yard looks so good the neighbors have even complimented me on the amazing job since moving in to this house.
