Description
Say goodbye to gas and cords with the 40V Power Share Cordless 24” Hedge Trimmer. Gas is expensive and unpleasant. Corded tools just get in the way. Get a smarter tool and never look back. We’ve combined the power of two 20V batteries to give this tool the juice to handle its 24 inches of dual-action cutting blades—at that length you’ll have the straightest hedges in town. The on-board power level indicator lets you know when you’re running low on battery. The transparent hand guard lets you see exactly what you’re cutting while keeping debris off you and the tool, and the blade tip protector prevents damage to the most important parts of the trimmer. It’s less than 10 lbs., so you can hold it up high to get the tops of hedges without much strain. Use it all day long without much fatigue. This model doesn’t come with batteries, but that’s by design. It’s meant for existing Power Share users that already have batteries that they can use to power this hedge trimmer. That way they can save money by not having to buy new batteries every time they buy a new Worx Power Share tool. (For the model of this hedge trimmer that comes with batteries, check out the WG284.)

Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using a corded 13th hedge trimmer for about 40 years, the time saved with the Worx 22 inch, 40V is indescribable. Never liked trimming shrubs and bushes before and mine grew to the point of being unmanageable. It handled the cuts, even branches so thick, I couldn’t imagine it would continue cutting without any hesitation. Great tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cordless trimmer is better than I expected ! As as 62yrs young gal it is just what I needed to add to my PowerShare collection! Lightweight and cut like a dream! The rotating handle was an added suprise that I wasn't expecting and excellent feature ! I did all my trimming and still had power left over, and some of my trimming was on overgrown monaflora rose which was outta control! The trimmer handles the thicker branches with ease with crosscut action! I have purchased addition batteries and chargers so I can do all my products in one day if I chose. I manicure 6 acres of property so cordless is the only way to go and all products I own have lived up to my expectations and more especially durability and lightweight!! Thanks Worx for making these powershare products! Will never buy anything else!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hedge trimmer is might and strong! I was impressed by the size and strength this thing has. I am a petite person, but could still hold it up without getting tired during my yardwork. The double dock charger is a huge plus for when you have a large area to prune or trim as you do not have to worry about only getting halfway through trimming and running out of battery. This comes with a storage cover for the blade to protect not only you but the blades from damage that is easy to slide on and off. The blades are tight and sharp for even cutting through whole branches on my bushes. I am very impressed and will be using this for years to come. Very high quality!

Makes Short Work of My Hedges
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trimming my hedges used to be a battle. My hedges are about 5 ft tall and 30 inches deep and 10 feet long in total. My old hedge trimmer is corded with a 17 inch blade. That means I'd have to be up to my armpits in spiky leaves to try and get the back of it. With this glorious 24 inch blade and no cord to drag around I was blown away at how much easier and faster the whole process was. The batteries still showed full charge when I was finished! The only downside is that the longer blade, and possibly the batteries, make this trimmer heavier than my old one. The additional reach more than make up for this in my opinion, but important to note. The Pros: - no cord - powerful motor - built-in battery test - plenty of juice in the batteries The Cons: - A little heavy

Lightweight and powerful cordless hedge trimmer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first cordless battery powered hedge trimmer and I am thrilled with the performance. I have a cord hedge trimmer but I found it really a hassle to drag the cable everything I need to do the work. What I love about this particular model is the flexibility, power, safety, lightweight and reach. It used a shareable 2x20v lithium battery which I can also use for other Wrox devices. The blades are designed to be long so it can have more reach, meaning less time to finish the work. The handle can be twisted to various degree angles to make the hedging easier. 40v is seriously powerful to complete multiple jobs in a single charge. There is a led battery indicator to see the remaining power left on each battery. For safety, both the handle button and trigger must be pressed. There is also debris deflector to protect the engine and blade cover to keep the blades in optimal condition. This is going to be my go to tools when I need to trim bushes and shrubs.

As a 63 yr young gal was exactly what I was looking for. 40V had tremendous power at cutting moderate size branches of monaflora rose bush that was overwhelming! Cut like a dream! Lightweight and easy to assemble safety guard and use! I have multiple PowerShare Products and love the convienience of batteries and longterm power. I have purchased extra batteries so I can do all my work at once if desired! Thanks for great reliability and durability of all your products!!

GLAD TO HAVE THIS NEW TOOL
I am very glad to have this new tool to provide a helping hand in my lawn care work. I used my new hedge trimmer for over an hour to trim evergreen shrubs, ornamental ground cover, leaf foliage shrubs and the remaining foliage from perninnal flowers which had bloomed earlier. The trimmer still had charge remaining after completing all this work. I am looking foward to having this trimmer to assist me in the fall when it is time to trim back our ornamental grass plants for the winter. This tool will be a great asset to assist me in the future for our lawn care needs. Wish I would have gotten the trimmer years ago. The trimmer is not to heavy to hold and use for a period of time, even though it has the two batteries. The design of the batteries (one on each side) helps with the balance of the tool. Also, the 24" blade is an asset that helped me to reach the height needed to trim our evergreen tree without of ladder better than our other electric trimmer has previously. it is also easier to trim knowing that I don't have to be concerned with potentially cutting our drop cord into as we have done more than one time with our other electric trimmer in the past.

Speed, Power & Cutting Ability
Spring cleanup, cutting down last years growth of our ornamental grasses. Old, corded trimmer couldn’t cut through so used to cut them by hand. This trimmer cut through with ease. Took me about one quarter of the time and effort as last year. Only wish I’d bought this years ago.

Good product/Bad Beginning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth purchase of a Worx 40 Volt tool. I had a great deal of trouble getting the hand shield on. The instructions are not clear which way the shield should go. It will fit both ways. I called Chris in tech support and he helped me. I still wish the shield was a little higher. This tool is very heavy with the 2X20V battery option. The weight would be a deterrent for some. Product does a great job! I purchased it to trim bushes on our lakefront property. I did not want to risk using hedge clippers with a cord over water.

Trim it easy

I’ve only had a couple weeks but I really like it, it’s so much easier to use than my old one we’re how do use a cord, this one is more powerful than my old corded trimmer, I have a much neater hedge now that I have this convenient tool

Power to spare
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owed this for a month end of season purchase. Trimmed up bushes for winter worked with ease had power to spare batteries life excellent. Features are a breeze to navigate. The unite is quite a bit heavier than my corded hedge trimmer but not dragging a power cord around out ways the arm fatigue.

Easy to use with blades that turn 90 degrees
Why is good about this product is it is portable and has a long cut life. I trim my hedges with it when trimming the tops, you just walk along with a back-and-forth movement. Turn the blade 90 degrees and you now can cut the front and back ith out changing you hand position.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced our 56V hedge trimmer because, well, you know, out with the old... Anyway, this tool is pretty much like the older one. About the same weight. The only ding I give this is there is about a 0.5 second delay from starting it to the actual blades starting. Did NOT have that on the 56V tool. Oh well. But, it works very nicely. Lasts a LONG time with 2 20V 4.0 Ah batteries.
