I do like this rower, easy to put together and smooth operation. Resistance is adjustable, with a setting of 12 changeling. That said this issue I have is there is no tension for the first 12 to 18 inches of travel from the bottom. If I pump the arms two or three times while at the bottom the tension does improve. Of course that takes away from the effectiveness of the exercise. Maybe the hydralice cylinder is defective?

Streaming the Olympics, I became fascinated by the sculling events, so thought to look up rowing machines. I had only ever rowed a few times in a canoe. Full motion was the only option that interested me, the price was very reasonable, so I took my chances. Haven't looked back! Very smooth operation and very quiet. Thank you for offering this rowing machine I didn't know I needed!
