SuperMoss Orchid Bark is natural Douglas-fir tree bark. Its pH makes it an ideal potting medium for orchids. It allows for great oxygenation and drainage of water so that the orchid's roots have constant access to both water and oxygen. This mimics an orchid's natural environment and helps them grow to their full potential. Available in attractive retail packaging and in bulk quantities.

Plants like

Good quality bark, too pricey for the amount you get but better grade than those at hardware stores you're tempted to buy when in a pinch. Product is lightly moist in the package but not moldy. The label did not disclose the bark's tree species unfortunately, so I had to look it up: White Fir. I repotted some orchids, and mixed the rest in another plants soil and they do like it. It improves the drainage of regular potting soil by a lot.
