Q: Can this be used to repost orchids?
A: I am not sure but it works great with regular flowers.
submitted bylivelifetothefullest - 8 years agoA: I wouldn't. Bark is better for drainage, which is better for orchids.

Q: What is the wetting agent? Can I grow plants that I'll consume in this soil without worrying about this?
A: The wetting agent in Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix is a proprietary ingredient. The purpose of the wetting agent is to promote water adsorption by the soil which is naturally hydrophobic and repels water. All of our potting soils/mixes can be used for planting edibles (fruits, vegetables, and herbs) in containers or raised beds.
