We're sorry your Swiffer WetJet left streaks, Donna. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results, so we don't expect these things to happen. Do not use Swiffer WetJet on unfinished, oiled, or waxed wooden floors, non-sealed tiles, or carpets. Streaking and cloudiness can also happen if other cleaning products have been used on the floor recently. If the product is suitable for your floor, for best results: *sweep or vacuum the floor first * leave the solution on the floor for 10 to 15 seconds before mopping. We have many quality and safety checks in place, so we would not expect this when used as directed. Swiffer Wet Cloths and the Swiffer WetJet are designed not to leave a residue. The ingredients are water-based, so we wouldn't expect a slippery surface once the floor is dry. It sounds like you have used these before, but we would make sure that your floors are suitable. Swiffer should not be used on unfinished, oiled or waxed wooden floors or non-sealed tiles. We’d also make sure the floors are dry before walking on them. This should only take 5-10 minutes. Also, if another product was used on the floor before using Swiffer, such as a product designed to increase shine, this could be the cause of a slippery floor.
