Not worth the money in my opinion. I really wanted to like it given the rave reviews on social media. Didnt work for me. Not plumping and not a lasting gloss. Dried my lips out more than anything g

The lip oil is okay, it's really just a gloss. It does seem to stay on for a while, which I like. Like other reviews, my big beef is this terrible applicator. Whoever it was in the Tarte marketing department that thought up this monstrosity, and then used their silver tongue to convince the big wigs that the "pom pom" was a great idea, that person needs to be fired and perp walked out of the office ASAP. I've used other glosses in a pen form with a clicker at the end to release the product, but those had a smooth brush at the end which allowed for an easy application. This pom pom is 1. way too large, not everyone has giant filler-packed lips 2. way too spongy, it absorbs too much gloss and seems like a waste; you have to "milk" it to get the gloss out. Also, if you're like me, you want quick application. I want to apply it and go - 4 seconds tops. This stuff takes a long time to ooze out of the tube, into the dumb pom pom, and then on to the lips - and if it's not enough, you have to click it again...and again. Then out of frustration, click, click, click, click! It takes what feels like forever to apply. I hate it.

I like shimmery lip balms and this is the nicest one so far, in regards to being the most noticeable and shiny. The only thing I don't like is the tip. So far so good. I hope it doesn't break off.

Love these plumping lip oils do not burn instead you feel a minty fresh sensations colors are sheer look natural can build color a little nice feeling on lips not sticky this is color buffed rose kinda mauve neutral color

I love this color! I wear it over a rosy pink lipstick, and it makes my lip color looks so natural and shiny. I like the tingle! This product is amazing.

I bought mixed berries shade. I noticed the plumping immediately & it felt refreshing on my lips! I have light skin & red hair so it left the perfect tint on my lips. While I wasn't sure I would love it, I am almost ready to buy my 3rd one.

I returned. Mechanism to get to the product way not good. Did not like the lip oil. Wore off quickly leaving my lips dry

Love the shade, but not a fan of the fuzzy applicator bc it can smear any base lipstick I’m wearing - really just a personal preference. Super shiny and pretty though!

Beautiful color, pretty sparkle and feels creamy on the lips but the sponge tip will fall off before the product is used up.

It does feel like an oil with a little plumping action. It does not plump a lot but give lips a nice look. Leaves a minty feel. I like this lippie.

Ok so there were a bunch of negative reviews on different websites about this pumping lip oil, but it went on sale so I decided to give it a try. The "gritty"ness that people mention did not occur to me at all. Perhaps it's because I got the clear version, I do not know. It strongly resembles my other lip plumper purchases like buxom & even sephora plumper, but definitely gives that lip oil look not just gloss. I keep it in my car now. A little goes a long way, like 2 pumps lasts me a few applications. I would purchase again.

I am surprise why this product is not over 4 stars, it is pretty good makes my lips hydrated and a small mint feeling cooling on lips. I got it during 21 beauty days event when it was on sale. they do have a lipstick of this kind as well. I equally like both! If you want an oil lip gloss based get this one! If you want it in lipstick get the Maracuja Juicy Lipstick version!

I have 4 shades and love them all. I think that Tarte has the best and biggest variety of lip products on the market. These plumping lip oils are comfortable and do not sting - they just feel similar to a peppermint chapstick so the plumping ingredients are gentle but effective. The Pom Pom applicator could be better as a it is easily damaged but I do keep using it even if the applicator is always there and I would still get more and recommend because the formula and color range is amazing!

I need to start by saying this lip oil is, hands down, one of the best formulas I’ve ever used. It’s been my everyday go-to for months, and I’ve already gone through more than five tubes. The formula is truly one of the best I’ve ever used- lightweight, comfortable, and gorgeous on its own or over any lip combo. It plumps my lips beautifully with a perfect amount of tingle (subtle but noticeable, which I personally love), and it’s become one of those rare products I can’t leave the house without. But the pom-pom applicator is a major flaw. The tip breaks down far too quickly, making it nearly impossible to finish the tube and forcing customers to repurchase long before they should. For a formula this good, that kind of packaging failure is incredibly frustrating and disappointing- it doesn’t do the product justice!! If the applicator were redesigned to be durable and functional, this lip oil could easily be the holy grail lip product on the market- a product people would repurchase for years without hesitation. I will still recommend it wholeheartedly, and I’ll keep buying it because the formula is just that good, but Tarte, PLEASE fix the applicator. This product truly deserves better!!
