TECHEF Kitchen Oversized BBQ Scissors

Handmade in Korea is why I bought these shears, and they lived up to it. They slice through smoothly, even tough meat, without any effort. The handle loops are roomy enough for bigger hands, so my husband uses them happily too. The dark gray finish looks sleek on the counter as well. Strongly recommend them.

Bought these almost two years ago to replace a pair from my knife block that had failed badly, and I doubt I will ever buy another brand while these exist. Strength wise, they cut through nearly anything with little effort and have not nicked or scratched at all. I have even used them in the garden on thick stems with no trouble. Sharpness wise, fine cheesecloth and wrapping paper cut as cleanly as chicken. Durability wise, dozens of trips through the dishwasher and they are unchanged, easy to clean, and there is not a speck of rust. Need kitchen shears? Get these. Need to trim a rose bush? Get these. Need a straight line on wrapping paper? Get these. Worth every penny.

More like a true pair of scissors than kitchen shears. They are sharp and cut well, but the blades are very long. I should have measured instead of assuming I knew the size. Not returning them, since that one is on me.

Numerous kitchen shears have passed through my hands, used mostly for meat, herbs, and the occasional vegetable. I also own several TeChef products because they are well made and show little wear after years of daily use. So when TeChef released shears, I had to try them, and they did not disappoint. Every other pair I have owned, name brand or glowing reviews or not, ended up in the bin eventually over rust or something similar. These have been excellent so far. They cut meat, vegetables, and herbs easily, the handles are comfortable to grip although my small hands took a while to adjust, and they are dishwasher safe, so on nights when hand washing is too much I can put them in without worrying about rust or dulled blades, though hand washing is still my preference for longevity. They are extremely durable, heavy duty, and sharp. What I love most is the long blades, which let me cut without readjusting several times and shorten my prep considerably. Kitchen shears may seem like just another gadget, but these have changed how I cook and I cannot recommend them enough.
