About the Author



Kim Smith is a New York Times bestselling illustrator of over forty children's books, including her authored-illustrated picture books Boxitects and Baker Makers. She is best known for the bestselling PopClassics adaptations of films such as Home Alone, E.T., Back to the Future, and Elf. Her recent work includes nature-inspired titles such as Bringing Back the Wolves and BBC's Planet Earth adaptations. Kim attended the Alberta University of the Arts. She lives in Calgary, Alberta, with her husband and her border terrier. When she's not drawing, she can be found hiking in the Canadian Rockies.
