I used a patch test and had no issues, so proceeded to the face. I left it on for maybe a minute and my skin was burning a lot, so I had to immediately wash it off and my face was already flushed. It’s been an hour and it’s getting redder. Had to put ice on it. Don’t do it.

Ive never done an acid peel before, but i was really trying to find a fresh dewy glow and minimize my pores. I washed and dried my face well, and then applied a very light coat of product. Since product is red its easy to see where it is on ur face! Then set my timer for 9 mins (bottle says do not go over 10 mins) since my skin is slightly sensative i errored on the side of caution. After my timer went off, I immediately rinsed the product off. I noticed the product did make my skin tingle in the folds of my nose where there was slightly more product. So, beware of applying evenly. Once the products was completely gone, i applied a toner and some moisturizer WITH SPF!!! (The SPF is important as the product does have AHA in it!!) i am SO happy with the results!!! I will continue to follow instructions to ONLY use once a week and will hopefully continue to minimize my pores and dewy fresh skin!!!

Do follow directions for real. Dont use more than twice a week. Don't exceed 10 mins of having this on your face. It does sting but nothing like a lip plumper sting though. But it does work it's literally a face peel. You will be smooth after i do follow up with a moisturizer afterwards but there is a noticeable difference i do recommend if your skin is not sensitive. And yes i bought this with my own money

I never write reviews, but this stuff is actually my new holy grail. I bought it back in december and was hesitant to use it because of negative reviews, but this stuff is amazing! Ive only used it twice and each time have instantly seen results. My skin is brighter, smoother, and more even. It does have a bit of a mild tingling sensation but this is a very strong acid so it's expected and totally normal.

When I got this product, my plan was to use it for my mustache shadow. When I started to use it I saw no results and my face burned after but I thought that maybe it was suppose to burn. Instead of it taking away my mustache shadow it made it WAY WORSE. So now I have to go find something that would take away the issue that this product has caused me- mind you, it made it worse in 3 WEEKS

Just started using but good results so far. I've tried a lot of treatments for old acne scars and this product is very promising. No sensitivity for me, using twice a week, with retinol daily treatment with sunscreen. Such a great price for the results and very easy to use, only ten minutes and your done!!!

I wanted to get a mild glycolic peel to keep my skin fresh. I saw this highly rated product from The Ordinary so I thought I'd give it a try. My skin felt sensitive for 1-2 days after using it and I thought my skin looked fresher. The problem is it caused a large cystic pimple on my chin that I now have no idea how to get rid of. How do I know it was the product? Because I don't get pimples any more due to age and this is the only product change that I made.

I exfoliate once a week with a 15% acid and use this once a month. It's strong. My skin doesn't need more but everyone is different. I will continue to use.
