was using 3 drops throughout my whole scalp, would wake up with hair so greasy it looked wet. i tried it for a week and ended up washing my hair 5 times in that week. normally i only wash 2 times a week

Dries out my scalp and leaves a greasy residue. Doesn't show any indication of hair growth. Instead is messing up my scalp. Will not use the rest of the bottle nor use again.

I have semi natural curly hair (texturizer) and my stylist made the comment the my hair was fine. I thought weird, as I've always had think hair. so I felt the shaft compared to the new growth and yes it was drastically fine. Started using this stuff and my hair is growing out put much thicker. I've heard some people say it's greasy. you have to massage it in really good each night on a clean scalp. As I only wash my hair twice a week I am only able apply up until the 3rd day post wash when the build really starts to thicken.

When I started a new medication, my hair fell out in clumps. I regularly take biotin and iron supplements to try to combat the issue and also use shampoo with biotin as an ingredient. I am allergic to minoxidil. I desperately wanted to love this hair serum, but unfortunately I seem to be allergic to it, too. After using it everyday for about a week, my scalp became bright red and unbearably itchy, just like when I tried using minoxidil. I stopped using the serum and allowed my scalp to heal. Then, I gave it another try just to confirm that I am indeed allergic to it. I am seriously disappointed. In the end, I have stopped using the new medication and slowly my hair is trying to grow back. My hair has always been thin anyway, and I'd try just about anything to have it grow in a bit thicker. I will say I've only seen any visible results with a healthy diet and vitamin supplements. I have no idea whether this serum from the Ordinary would have helped me any since I haven't been able to use it long enough to find out. I love most of their products that I have tried, but this one just doesn't work for me.

I was interested in adding an oil to my haircare routine, but could never find one that fit well or was nice to use on my fine hair. Many that i tried i needed to use super carefully since they would tend to weigh my hair down, and i wasn't seeing much improvement when i stuck with them too… i decided to try this since it looked like a lighter formula compared to normal hair oils, and I absolutely love this! It is lightweight so i found that when i wanted, i could even use this every day. It also felt easy to use on both wet and dry hair, and was worth trying out since i actually did notice improvements in the health of my hair over time. Overall, i did see some growth in my hair when i was consistent with this, and my baby hairs were crazy long after a while of using it too! I'd definitely recommend this!

I just used up my first 2oz bottle, I used it for probably 6mo. I am not the best with consistentcy, but was fairly consistent. At worst 3-4 days using it then I would forget for a couple of days. All that to say, even if you forget to use it occasionally, it still works. I had started losing hair due to weight loss and this fixed it 100%. At my last haircut, we even thinned out some of my hair- I never thought I would be able to do that. When first applied, it does give your hair a kind of greasy look, but it does dry and I don't notice it after that. It's just a great product if you are experiecing hair loss or thinning, totally a staple in my routine now!

I wasnt sure what to expect from this product. I scouted every review on every site, the price made me nervous that it might not work, but it was a great price for me to try it and have it fail. I'd call it a surprise, but i was really rooting for it all along - this product WORKS. I was using it consistently but at the beginning i had also started exercising everyday so my wash cycle hadnt adapted to the addition of this product in my routine. I was washing every three days, and attempting to use this product every day. Dont do that. Follow the rules. Only use the product on clean hair. If you put it in at night after a wash and blow dry, it will look freah by the time you wake up. I was using it every day and only washing on day 3 and started to notice a smell in my hair by day 3. Now i wash my hair every other day and use the product on my clean hair and the smell is gone. The density and strength of my hair has improved. Also - be prepared for baby hairs galore, AND they grow long enough to be actual full length strands. Only raving reviews completely endorsing this product!

My hair has been falling out in clumps for months now (for many reasons, mainly stress and new medications), and this product almost instantly slowed down the loss. I was losing less in the shower as well as less on brushes and scrunchies. I'm already seeing new growth as well. I would definitely recommend giving this product a try if you are new to experiencing hair loss like I was.

I bought this a month ago and have been using it every night along my hairline. For the price and how long a bottle looks like it'll last me I'm happy! I've seen so much new growth along my hairline where I've been struggling to get any hair to grow, so I cant wait to see where I'll be in another month or two.

I finished a chemo regimen earlier this year that made me lose my hair. Ive been using this since March & have seen great results. My hair is thick and growing fast. I'm also taking vitamins (collagen, biotin, vitamin D, vitamin C) and using red light on my scalp.

I love this serum but I'm so disappointed in the new price point. You don't get enough product for the money as you need to use it on your whole scalp and it goes quickly. It works so well and the minute it became popular, they doubled the price. So, I'm not buying as often as I used to and I'm now using it sparingly.

I used almost the whole bottle and saw no difference at all. I really wanted it to work because if the price. I love their skincare products though!

Easy to use and I can already see improvement on scalp!

I bought this prudct, first time actually using this brand, after i had tape in extensions for 8 months that were professionally installed and after taking them out, i cried in the shower from how bald i was. My hair was so thin and short and broken off and bald patches. I was so mad at my hair stylist because she lied and said my hair would grow longer and thicker with extensions because they were a protection hairstyle. Anyways, started using Ordinary Peptide Scalp serum and immediately started seeing results. My receding hairline was growing babyhairs everywhere the first month. Next months i could feel more volume. 6 months i had patches of new growth around 2/3 inches sticking straight up off my head. 8-10 months my hair is so much longer. Its been almost a year since i started using it and my hair is recovered! I cant wait to see how long my hair grows next year! I also use Mielle Organics rosemary scalp oil too. Pacifica has a great apple cider vinegar detox. I only gloss my hair, no dye or bleach. Tiny trims.

Severely damaged processed hair, became super thin so I started using 2% Minoxidil. It was definitely working but did not give me the results I hoped for - once I added this serum my hair totally transformed! Density & new growth greatly improved!

I am only rating it a four stars because i started using it only a couple days agi so i cant say much as far as hair thickness ( although that is fhe original reason i got this product ) I anticipated writting a review because of fhe way this feels on my hair. It does not feel oily whatsoever! I have very oily hair and i mean so oily that it makes me break out if not washed every two days, I always gotta keep my hair at a shorter lenght! this product makes mg hair feel great and not greasy whatsoever, also been having problems with flakey hair and this did the job and got rid of them. So far so surprised!

The Ordinary Multi Peptide Serum for Hair Density is very effective. I use it in combination with Minoxidil spiked with DMSO, and have seen my hair grow back much darker and thicker. It's an excellent product.

I like that it's water-based and non greasy. It relieves my scalp of dry flakiness.
