Terrible Customer Service & Awful Assembly/Instructions/Parts

First of all, Target customer service assured me I could have the fireplace delivered to my apartment door because it comes in 2 heavy boxes. WRONG! FedEx driver was absolutely not allowed to per company policy. I had to slide boxes (1 over 70 lbs) down hallways and in/out of elevator. Second, assembly instructions are horrible. There are a whole bag of screws not accounted for in the instructions, but I figured out where they went. Third, the predilled holes were missing in the stand for the final 2 pieces of wood to be screwed in to secure the fireplace insert. Because the stand is made of MDF, I will have to purchase drill to predill holes in order not to split the MDF. After more than 4 hours of this disastrous assembly, I'm absolutely regretting this purchase. Should've bought through Birch Lane & paid the extra $ for the professional assembly option they offer!
