A massage gun that genuinely feels different
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned other massage guns before, so I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by another one. However, the Theragun Relief has genuinely surprised me. It’s strange because the basic principle is the same as my other massage guns, yet I feel this one does a much better job. What really sets it apart for me is the app integration. Rather than just switching it on and hoping for the best, you can follow different massage programs tailored to the type of relief you’re looking for. I’ve been using it for a while now and have worked my way through quite a few of the programs, which has made it much easier to target specific areas. My biggest success so far has been with the tension in my neck and shoulders. I’ve noticed a real improvement after using the guided programs, and it’s been lovely to feel some of that tightness easing. I’ve also started working on my thighs recently, and so far, so good! I like that it takes some of the guesswork out of using a massage gun. The app gives you a bit more direction, while the different attachments help you target areas according to the type of relief you need. It’s a more considered approach than simply picking up a massage gun and going to town on whatever happens to ache that day. The price is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality, the app integration and the choice of attachments, I think it’s actually very reasonable for what you get. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with the Theragun Relief. Having tried other massage guns, I wasn’t expecting such a noticeable difference, but the guided programs have made this one stand out for me. I’ll definitely be recommending it to others who are looking for help managing everyday muscle tension and stiffness. It’s earned its place in my routine, and that’s saying something when I’ve already got other massage guns to hand!

I especially like the different attachments and the guide cards, which explain which attachments to use, how to hold the device, how long to massage each area and which direction to move it. The app also provides useful tips and step-by-step guidance. The battery lasts a long time, and the massage helps me relax and relieve muscle tension. I love that I can easily massage myself whenever I need to, without having to rely on anyone else. More useful than expected

I thought it would be just something nice to have when I fancied a bit of TLC, but I have found that this is really good for sports as well. I do weight training a few times a week and also run and I’ve been using this before as a warm-up and then after for muscle recovery and it’s been really helpful. It’s really easy to use and comes with three different attachments for different areas of the body. The handle allows you to hold it in multiple ways, which allows you to reach hard to access areas.

Start slow

It offers three speeds, however I don't think I'd be able to go past the first setting! The battery lasts ages and can be easily charged with the c charger given.

The cards are missing, reduce neck tension, refresh your legs, etc. I just received and opened the box, have not plugged it in or used yet. Disappointed that already things are missing from the box.

Ok for everyday, not for deep massage

It's straightforward to use and change attachments. The only downside is that it might not be powerful enough for deeper massage. It's also quite pricey for something with fairly basic features. Overall a well-designed massage gun that's ideal for everyday muscle tension.

I was a little skeptical at first because the shape didn't look like it would be very effective but the size was perfect. Not to big and not too small. It actually worked so so much better than I expected. My muscles are no longer sore. I can use it after a workout and help my muscles recover faster. So the next workout is even more effective. It takes almost no maintenence to keep running smoothly. At the end of the day. I use it to relax before bedtime. It doesn't create too much noise and so I now get the bed sleep I've ever gotten in my life. I encourage everyone to get one of these Because you will not regret it and you won't be able to live without it once you have it.

The dampener helps to reduce aches & pains & the thumb is for the lower back & trigger points to ease pains. The handle is ergonomic & can be held in three different ways, it comes with a cable for easy charging & the charge lasts a long time. The app is really easy to use & link your device. It syncs to your workouts & suggests a tailored massage therapy plan which I love. It has easy videos to follow, to make sure you get the treatment exactly where you need it. Ive found it’s especially relaxing before bed. A great device especially if you love to work out!

However if you have a stiff neck or shoulder it is not always comfortable to hold your arm up. Minimal noise and easy to wipe between uses. Well packaged and presented. Has quite a lot of vibration through handle and is extremely powerful. I would have preferred a lower setting.

Its unique shaped handle means you can reach parts of your body you can’t normally reach and still give good pressure. Great for end of day recovery

The design is sleek, and the three different handle positions make it comfortable to hold and use. It’s big enough to make an impact on sore muscles but still compact enough to fit in hand luggage which is great for traveling. I used it after workouts and also at the end of the day when getting home from work. Both my partner and I have added it to our evening routines. The battery also lasts numbers of times so it’s very low maintenance, you can charge it and basically forget about it. I can tell it’s made to last from the weigh and material of it, it feels sturdy and comfortable. The gun comes with three different heads as standard to target different areas, a charging cable, three start up cards explaining how to target key areas, a manual and lastly the gun itself. The cards are really useful to start off with, but the app is where it shines! There are so many different massage options and they also give you workouts and guidance that are genuinely useful. Overall, it’s really well-designed product that is easy to use and has plenty of features without being over complicated.
