Q: Hello, can this thermometer be used for measuring temp in liquids, like sauses, jam? What is the responce time? How long is the metal probe? Thanks

A: Hello, Yes you can use this to measure temperature in liquids such as sauces, oils, jams, etc. Please make sure that the handle of the probe does not get submerged in liquid though. The device has a 4 second refresh rate. The metal probe is 8 inches long.

Q: I'm deep frying a turkey for thanksgiving. Can I leave the probe in the turkey while cooking?

A: Hello, Unfortunately, the probe of this device cannot be completely submerged in liquid or oil. This would be possible if you were able to set up the probe in a manner where only the half of the probe with the tip was inserted or submerged.

Great device for grilling it up!
My husband and I found this ThermPro thermometer very useful. We like our steaks medium rare, while the kids like them medium well, this device worked perfectly to get the steaks cooked to our liking! Just stick in the probes and the alarm will let you know when they are done! We especially like that it comes with a remote that works at 500 feet range! We recommend

Accurate and easy to use
With summer here, my family uses the grill frequently. I wanted a remote meat thermometer to aid in getting the perfect cook for our foods and this one fits the bill. The thermometer comes pre-calibrated and ready to use, even including batteries for the unit and the remote. The two probes offer the ability to monitor the temperature of 2 meats or to track one meat and the ambient temperature of the grill, smoker, or oven. Easy to set temperature, large digital display, alarms when temperature is reached, and an alarm if the link is lost between the transmitter and receiver are all features of this simple to use system. This thermometer system makes it easy to prepare foods while visiting with guests or watching the big game with the 500 ft. wireless range. Can also be used to measure the temperature while making jams and sauces. I found this so simple to use and keep track of meat on the grill while preparing side dishes for the perfect meal result. Definitely would purchase this thermometer again.

ThermoPro Remote Food Thermometer with Dual Probe
We have been doing lots of grilling lately and the ThermoPro Remote Meat Thermometer has been really helpful to get the meats and fish to the correct interior temperature. My husband finds it to be a plus to have two probes, to use for different cuts of meat. It is nice to have a remote receiver to take in the house, no waiting around the grill to see when the food is done. The thermometer is easy to operate, batteries are included.

Perfectly cooked pork roast
We used this thermometer on a pork butt roast in our brand new smoker and it allowed us to get the temperature up to the perfect temperature. The meat was done to perfection. I think it is probably the best meal I have had all year.

Great thermometer
I was going into the product with alot of false hopes. However this item is great! The ability to have it where u can leave the area and be alerted when the food reached the temperature. Very well made

Wonderful Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the ThermPro TP)0B Digital Thermometer a few weeks ago. Having it digital is the first plus. No guessing, it tell you. Having the 2 probes is also a plus. I cooked out last week and used this and my meat was cooked perfectly. Other liked their meat differently and we did it. Everyone was happy. I highly recommend to others and the people at my cookout are buying one also. They were very impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this because I needed a way ti maintain and keep track of my barbeque. I can place my food on the barbeque and walk away keeping track of the tempreture of the food. The alarm lets me know when temp drops or rises.
