I love that this cereal has clean ingredients and has less sugar than other brands. I don’t feel guilty giving this to my toddler and we both love the taste! I can hardly tell it has chickpeas. The only con is the price. We go through boxes of these per week and at $7 per box, it adds up quick.

I thought it was weird to see that description. The cereal is mostly chickpeas. The plain flavor is sugar-free, but there is more sodium. I typically opt for the cinnamon, plain, or cocoa flavor for weight loss. Also, remember that plant proteins are typically heavy in carbs anyway and the protein is incomplete. Dairy, hemp milk, or rice milk will complete the protein.

This cereal is truly gross tasting. I know taste preference depends on the person but does anyone really want to taste peas and chickpeas in a fruity cereal? Would recommend other healthy cereal options! And the price is crazy for a tiny box of cereal. We only tried it because it had a deal.
