The toilet paper holder is as good as any but it isn't brushed nickel. The toilet paper bar (that is covered with toilet paper) is, but the two outer parts that you look at are shiny chrome.

The description says the arm pivots. It does not - it is a spring (which you can tell slightly based on the picture). The spring however is not very springy - so it is not very easy to change the toilet rolls without manually manipulating the bar.

The price for the item is such a steal! The chrome material is nice and shiny. Style is simple and timeless. I agree with the other reviewer that you do not want to place where you drill 6” apart. The spring bar will not reach. 5.5” might be slightly tight but works better. So anywhere between 5.5”-5.75” is good. Installation was straightforward and I’m overall happy with upgrading to this item.

Love the sleek, modern look. Solid construction. Only downside is that the toilet roll holder doesn't slide as easily in and out but really no big deal. However, be aware that the INCORRECT MEASUREMENT IS PROVIDED in the manual! Mounting brackets should be spaced about 5.5" apart on center, NOT 6" apart. The toilet roll holder won't even reach both ends at 6" apart.
