I think when he opened it and put it on his toothbrush he was a bit surprised by the color because it isn’t a bright blue! But he smelled and tasted it and enjoyed it! It’s now his go to toothpaste! I wouldn’t be a Mom if I didn’t try it too and I was impressed with how well it tasted and how it lathered and made my teeth feel clean.

His initial thoughts were "I thought it would be red", "it tastes like strawberry" and "I like [insert traditional sugary toothpaste here] more." He was thrown off that the toothpaste didn't have a bright red or pink color since the flavor is strawberry. He's not one for change so I don't know if I can get him to convert to Tom's toothpaste, but if you have a more willing child or one who doesn't have sugar in his veins, I think it's a solid product.

The color is a little strange, as it’s like a grey/pink color and I was expecting a little more vibrant. The kids love that it isn’t “spicy” though and tastes like bubblegum. I tried it myself and I wish this was my toothpaste! It’s a healthy toothpaste option that has the fluoride kids need to make sure their teeth stay healthy and cavity free. I know one of the reasons that the color isn’t as vibrant is because it’s dye free - so I guess we have to take some losses to get a win! Overall a great toothpaste that makes the kids actually want to brush their teeth in the morning.

But this silly strawberry toothpaste, definitely checked all the boxes for my girls! They love the taste, and actually looked forward to brushing their teeth! My son likes the taste and the graphic on the container, always asking for the “strawberry toothpaste” when we get out his toothbrush. It’s nice that this product is safe to use your children and doesn’t have harmful ingredients. That being said, I’m not sure about the cleaning abilities of this product. Behind the initial foaming up of the product, after my child spits the first time, it seems all toothpaste is gone and there’s nothing left to brush/clean the teeth with. While the toothpaste dispenses easily from the container, I found the cap is extremely difficult to open.
