Safe Choice for Kids!

The only downside is that he didn’t love this particular flavor, but I’ll definitely be trying other flavors from this brand because I still trust the ingredients and quality.

Encourages good brushing habits for kids

Tom's strawberry kids toothpaste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothpaste is a reasonable choice for young children learning to brush — especially if you want fluoride protection but want to avoid strong mint or “adult” flavors. It helps overcome the common barrier of kids refusing to brush because of taste or “spiciness.” However, it’s not perfect: flavor and packaging issues mean it may not suit every child. If you try it, watch how your child reacts to taste and texture and make sure they get into the habit of spitting (not swallowing).

Not sugary or artificial

His initial thoughts were "I thought it would be red", "it tastes like strawberry" and "I like [insert traditional sugary toothpaste here] more." He was thrown off that the toothpaste didn't have a bright red or pink color since the flavor is strawberry. He's not one for change so I don't know if I can get him to convert to Tom's toothpaste, but if you have a more willing child or one who doesn't have sugar in his veins, I think it's a solid product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids love the taste of this strawberry Tom’s of Maine toothpaste. The color is a little strange, as it’s like a grey/pink color and I was expecting a little more vibrant. The kids love that it isn’t “spicy” though and tastes like bubblegum. I tried it myself and I wish this was my toothpaste! It’s a healthy toothpaste option that has the fluoride kids need to make sure their teeth stay healthy and cavity free. I know one of the reasons that the color isn’t as vibrant is because it’s dye free - so I guess we have to take some losses to get a win! Overall a great toothpaste that makes the kids actually want to brush their teeth in the morning.

Toothpaste is a huge point of contention, we like to brush three times a day, but it’s hard to find a toothpaste that both kids will agree on. But this silly strawberry toothpaste, definitely checked all the boxes for my girls! They love the taste, and actually looked forward to brushing their teeth! And they added bonus of having fluoride in the toothpaste makes me know that I’m doing something good for my children! I will definitely be buying this again, at my kids request!

The kids like it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great when you have picky kids trying to brush their teeth. My son likes the taste and the graphic on the container, always asking for the “strawberry toothpaste” when we get out his toothbrush. It’s nice that this product is safe to use your children and doesn’t have harmful ingredients. That being said, I’m not sure about the cleaning abilities of this product. Behind the initial foaming up of the product, after my child spits the first time, it seems all toothpaste is gone and there’s nothing left to brush/clean the teeth with. While the toothpaste dispenses easily from the container, I found the cap is extremely difficult to open.
