No sticks
Target’s lack of quality control continues to amaze me. After waiting for this item for weeks, it was sent to me without the sticks to actually play it.

Missing sticks when shipped
As another reviewer mentioned, I ordered this product and it arrived alone in a box without the sticks. The xylophone and its colors are appealing, but if I wanted my child to use it, I would need to find and substitute sticks. I returned the product and thought about reordering but when I saw another reviewer say they received it twice without sticks, I decided not to reorder. Disappointing purchase as I thought my child would enjoy this toy.

Target needs better quality control
I would not recommend buying this. I purchased this as a birthday gift for my child and it arrived without the wooden sticks. It was obvious with the packaging, where the sticks belonged and just weren’t there. Target sent out a replacement and lo and behold, AGAIN arrived missing the wooden sticks. That’s a first for me, to have the same product arrive twice missing the same parts. Obviously I will return it, as I’m not about to take my chances having this happen a third time. Target really needs to do better with their quality control and packaging and shipping. My child’s birthday is now in two days and I’m out a present. I also ordered this well over two weeks ago. Pretty frustrating, I would stay away!

Beautiful Toy, Okay Sound
Bought this for my 1.5-year-old while visiting family. It entertained him for a short time. The xylophone is beautiful; I love that it’s made from primarily wood and metal. However, the sound is just okay. Was hoping for something closer to the sounds of the xylophones in my son’s music class.
