I have coily hair that is prone to dry when using clarifying shampoos. Especially since I live at high elevation in a dry climate. This bottle attracted me because of its classy design so I decided to give it try. Am so glad I did. It gives my hair a deep cleansing, taking all the heavy products and oil, yet leave my coils soft, bouncy, moisturized and refreshed! I will not use any other product but this for my hair. Thank you Taraji for creating such and effective and nourishing product for curly girls! 👏🏾❤️

My all-time favorite clarifying shampoo! I have very long, fine, straight, bleached hair and a very oily scalp. No other shampoo cleans my scalp like this one. The smell is amazing and I love the cooling sensation it leaves behind after I rinse it out. Like with any clarifying shampoo, you will need to condition your lengths and ends well afterwards if you are prone to tangling. Leave in conditioner is a good idea too. I always double shampoo because my scalp is so oily. Sometimes I only use this one when I’m feeling really greasy and other times I will use this first to get the grease off my scalp before using another kind of shampoo for bond repair or to keep my scalp from getting dry from over cleansing. I think I’m on my third bottle of this by now maybe fourth? As long as this is being sold, I will continue to buy it.

I was out with my cousin watching a parade under a tree and it's pollen season. Needless to say, with the product I had in my hair, pollen was all throughout my hair. I needed something to wash it all out and was looking thru other products when my cousin saw Honey Fresh. Once we smelled the shampoo (I'm hypersomia), I was hooked. Later after using the shampoo, I'm throwing out all my other products just for this. The shampoo lathers up without having to use a lot. The directions says to use a quarter size amount and I would have to disagree with that. You don't need much at all but I will tell you it will depend on how thick your hair is. My hair is fine so I didn't need that amount. The shampoo strips any and everything out of your hair without damaging your hair or drying it out. After using this product, I wanted to write my review immediately but I wasn't at home or near a computer to do so. TPH, you did your thang and you have a customer for life with me. I can't wait for the next new product you add to this line.

Very disappointed in this hair product. It made my hair knot up bad in the shower, drenched it of any moisture. I was warned not to buy it by other natural girlies due to Taraji always wearing weaves. It was definitely a money grab for her. SMH

Microloc ladies, this is a win! I’ve been looking for a new shampoo because Dr. Bronner’s is just too harsh/drying. I’m also trying to be more conscience of who I spend my coins with. This was perfect! My hair felt squeeky clean, but still moisturized. No frizzies. I workout a lot and I felt like it definitely got all of the sweat buildup out of my locs and off my scalp without having to wash a million times. Two washes with a little scrub and I was good. You need a good dollop, but you don’t need a lot. That was a mistake I made. I liked that my scalp didn’t feel itchy or tight after. I also noticed the color of my hair was better. My hair didn’t look dull or ashy. I followed up with oiling my scalp, spritzing with rose water, roller setting and sitting under the dryer. My hair turned out soo nice! The only thing I didn’t care for was the smell. Yes, it smells good, kind of masculine. Like a dove men’s soap. But not enough of a turn off to detour me from wanting to buy and use it. Verdict: it’s a yes. Buy it!

So I loved this shampoo! It does exactly what it says: clean your hair without stripping the oils. That only thing is, it made my face breakout :(. Fragrance is the 5th ingredient and I think if there were less, this would be top tier for me.

This is the best shampoo I’ve ever used!!!! This shampoo washes and clarifies my hair and scalp so well, especially after weeks of build up on my scalp.
