Q: I do not believe these clippers are almost 2.5 inches wide, unless they're for use trimming elephant toenails...and frankly, the dimensions of the packaging are not useful. Clipper length?

These Trim toenail clippers are lighter, weaker, and less effective than they used to be. We have several older, stronger sets and they have always worked well and still do. These new lighter weight clippers do not work well at all and are frustrating to use. We all know that saying ‘tough as toenails’ is true. The new Trim cannot handle tough toenails. Frustrating to use as they don’t do the job properly like the old ones.

Not a toenail clipper. Toenail clippers have straight blades since toenails are meant to be clipped straight across. If you clip toenails in a curved shape like fingernails it can cause ingrown toenails
