Beware of shards
These are sharp and work well. However while clipping I noticed these metal shards on the clippers, so I swiped a cotton swab over the opening of clippers and this is what came off. Safety hazard! Especially around children. I immediately threw them in the trash.

Just as the other reviews described, these clippers are dull and requires too much effort to cut. 50% of the time they don’t cut the nail through, causing cracking. Difficult to smooth nail without following up with file; leaves jagged result. Do not recommend.

This fingernail clipper is terrible. It is sharp but it doesn't cut clean and sometimes breaks part of your nail. The fingernail file is so tiny but it kinda works.
