Tripton Dining Upholstered Side Chair - Signature Design by Ashley

I am happy that I purchased the Tripton dining chairs. The chairs look nice in my dining room, they are sturdy and very affordable. The seat cushions are very firm which is what I wanted. I did need to ask a neighbor to assemble the chairs for me, though.

It's comfortable, nice and good price. However, one comes missing a hole to put the nails in. After assemble it, the leg is wobbly. I have to add some pad to keep it from rocking.

I love these chairs. I bought 4 of them in Linen 5 years ago and they are still upholding well. They are a classic, timeless, elegant look and are very comfortable to sit on. I love the high back and tufting, too.

I love the style and the look. However, the screws are not aligned with the holes and one of the chairs are very wobbly. I also have the barstools and the same thing with those as well.

I as able to find two bar stools that matched the one I already had. I purchased news ones and never received and it appeared I was not going to be able to get those for another 6 months, if then and if they were not discontinued. Luckily, the outlet store had 3 in their location and I purchased two from them. I was told they matched other stores prices, yet when my husband paid for mine and showed them the coupon and discounted prices others were selling for, I was charged full price. I felt helpless as to my choices at this point so, I let them keep my money and let it go. I needed the the stool regardless if I did pay more than was told.

These chairs blend in well and are sturdy and comfortable.

They look nice but they aren’t the best quality. Once you sit on them for a long period time you can feel the wood beneath the seat cushion. The price was right but I don’t think they will last very long.

Overall we like the chairs. The color online look whiter than they are in reality. They are oatmeal in color. As far as the legs fitting, 3 fit very well, 3 others have a small wobble and two were just a mess. More that 1/4” of wobble on front legs. One should not have to cut down legs to get them to have a flat fit. I would recommend attaching the legs very loosely, then stand the chair up, get underneath and tighten screws. I had to actually cut down one leg and enlarge the holes for the bolts. Got it close. Add felt protector disks and you reduce more wobble.

Legs are medium brown and much lighter than the online photos. The fabric is also a darker beige (almost tan) than what is pictured.

It look great in my space. The chair is so comfortable and the desk look great. It has so much style. I finally got my study time with Jesus where i can be relax and comfortable.

Chairs are excellent! Just as I read in the reviews prior to purchasing, the assembly was obnoxious. More challenging than necessary. Other than that, we love them!

Poor Quality, the legs are not stable and these chairs are not made for people with weight, the Quality is terrible, the legs have to continue to be tightened up because they wobble

These chairs look nice, but the assembly process is terrible. Clearly, the person who designed these never actually assembled one themselves. Even as the owner of a woodworking business, and someone who runs the product design group for a company that produces outdoor furniture with a similar assembly method, I struggled to assemble these. The clearance holes for the bolts, and the threaded inserts that the bolts thread into, are misaligned in both location and angle. Good luck using the Allen key they give you, because it doesn’t give near enough leverage to get these bolts in - you need a drill and 5/32” hex bit to force them in. Some of the chairs’ legs are uneven and I needed to shim one leg on several of the chairs so they didn’t wobble. I’d strongly suggest Ashley starts holding their supplier accountable and not accepting junk like these.

I did not want a whole new dining room set, so these chairs did the trick! They gave my dining room a whole new updated look. Out of the six chairs, one set of legs on one made it wobbly, but that was a quick fix with an extra small piece of floor padding. No problem since then. The seats are a little firm but for the price they are fine. They were not hard to put together (just read the instructions carefully). PLEASE NOTE: It is much easier to put them together using a small-sized rachet instead of the allen wrench that is provided. Again, for the price, these chairs are a good value! I am glad I purchased them!
