[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product about a month ago. I finally used it two days ago. I was surprised how light it is. I had never used an edgier before and was a little nervous but it was very easy to use. It was simple to operate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This edger was excellent. First of all I was able to put together in just under ten minutes. The instructions were clear and user friendly. When I powered on it proved to be a power machine that packed a great punch. My edge lines look great. The only downside is it doesn’t make those deep trench lines for a mulch bed as much as I would like. Probably better to refine an existing trench rather than create a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a weedeater with an edging attachment as well. Compared to edging with a weedeater, this product is much better! PROS - Easy to assemble - Came with gas - Easy to follow instructions to start; started right up based on those instructions - Easier to stay straight on a line than when using a weedeater to edge - Blade does a great job of cutting down to the dirt - Does not take up a lot of storage space - Not very heavy and it's on wheels, which helps with muscle fatigue CONS - You need to know where the edge of your sidewalk is - if it's really overgrown, it might take you a couple times to not ding the side of the concrete - If you've never edged before, expect to have to do it a couple of times before you get the edge you want - A blower or rake are a great thing to use between passes in getting the edge established - Your grass needs to be completely dry to get a clean edge The four-star review is because it took several passes to get the edge established

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TBE304 Troy-bilt edger gives a very well manicured look to our lawn. Easy to use and not too heavy. I used a small can of premixed oil. I would recommend the use of non ethanol gas. I like the option of cordless drill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this Edger by TroyBilt! Right out the box this edger took less than 10 minutes to assemble it was so easy and consumer friendly. The pulling took minimal elbow grease and didn’t strain my back unlike many other edgers I’ve owned this edger was super easy to pull and start up. Inside the box I found a large bottle of 4 cycle engine oil so everything we needed to use this bad boy and start it up was included and that was a super plus for me! This edger worked flawlessly at providing both my drive way and sidewalk with the cleanest edges which aided my mowing the lawn afterwards appear so much cleaner with such beautiful edges, that even my neighbors noticed and that alone speaks volumes! The materials used to make this bad boy are quite durable too. I’ve accidentally dropped it over more times than I’d like to admit but it only got a few scratches and continued to perform just as great as I used it the first time, so I have no doubt this Edger will last us for years to come. So if your looking for an Edger that will work incredible and will last long, I without a single doubt advise you to try a Troy-Bilt edger I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This summer we did our patio in the yard so this edger had came to be very convenient to use for the edge instead of using our old carrying stick kind. The Troybilt edger came in a nice packed box that took us less than 10 min to assemble the entire thing together. This TBE304 Edger seems to be made of good quality and is not flimsy like some of the ones I've seen before. The box came with clear instructions and everything we needed to get the machine started and running. It took no effort to start the machine and it ran smoothly. I wouldn't call this a quiet machine but I think it's definitely quieter than my lawn mower. I like that you could control the height of the blade and see where it'll cut. All I needed to do was adjust the height I want it to be and push like a lawn mower, and the result was I got a nice edge around our new patio without much effort. This edger is fairly compact and light for it's nature. I'm so glad we got this edger and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gas edger from Troy-Bilt operated very smoothly, and easily. All while putting zero strain on the back. Its 30cc, 4-cycle engine was less noisy, and produced enough torque to make quick work of things. This apparatus really spruced up either side of our driveway, putting a clean line between the rocks and the grass. The fold-down handle made for easier storage, which was very much appreciated. This piece of machinery did a fantastic job, well-worth recommending to others.

It maneuvers very easily. I had no problems starting it. I would recommend with to someone who is looking for a nice lightweight edger that’s easy to use.

It is very easy to operate and the noise level is less than any other lawn machine I have owned. With one smooth pull, it can be started fast. Also love that I don’t have to mix gas and oil to operate. It has a 9 inch steel blade for easy edging of driveways and sidewalks. And also has a 5 position height. Very easy to storage. And has a 2 year warranty. Overall great edger. Highly recommended.

It was so easy to put together no tools needed, put a little gas and oil in and began mowing. I did not have to worry about making a straight line the edger did everything for me, I just pushed it straight no bending and it came out perfect.

An added plus is that it uses gas only and no mixing of gas and oil. The edger starts easily with a pull. The steel blade is heavy-duty 9 in. dual-tipped and cuts a clean edge along my driveway and sidewalks.

The blade only spins when you want it to spin which makes it easy to not make mistakes. Overall, My lawn looks much nicer now and I can't wait to keep everyone off of it!

She was always having a hard time clearing it because she was worried she might ruin the lawn mower's blade; hence, the edger came handy. It cuts through nicely and is very light which I guess is one of the best features not to mention easy to use. This is also a perfect machine for making a garden as it helps the edging clearer.
