These are the perfect substitute for Zone Bars Cookie Dough (Zone Bars were sadly discontinued). So happy to find these!! We LOVE them! Have to limit my teen daughter to 1 a day or she'd eat at least 3... They don't have a weird texture, and there is no artificial taste! Also not a ton of calories. So glad my friend added one to my Mother's Day gift! Now we're hooked! And I've told all of my friends

When I opened it, I was a little surprised by how it looked, it didn’t quite match the picture on the wrapper and had that typical protein bar appearance and texture. That said, the taste really caught me off guard in a good way. It’s definitely still a protein bar, but the flavor was much better than I expected. The cookie dough taste was there, and it wasn’t overly sweet or fake tasting. I could actually see myself grabbing this one again if I needed a quick snack or something to hold me over. Out of the few protein bars I’ve tried over the years, this is easily one of the better-tasting ones.

They have a chewy texture that adds some oomph to the bar and helps make them a bit more filling. I definitely get the cookie dough flavor, but it tastes like a bit of caramel there too. Love the chocolate coating and high protein content. These are an enjoyable and healthy snack, without any bad after taste. I like that it’s made with plant protein and clean ingredients. The size is small-medium; but they are a bit thicker so you can make them last a bit.

The chocolate flavor is not fake tasting and I love how there is no sugar alcohols and no soy , all ingredients that lead to migraines for me. Gluten free on top of that and coming in at 12g protein and 12g fiber. These are gonna definitely be a must grab for me. Can’t wait to try more flavors

I tried a lot of protein bars, and a lot of them have that gritty texture or funky aftertaste that makes it hard to get through the whole bar and want to eat again. the TRU Bar in Oh Oh Cookie Dough totally surprised m in the best way possible. The texture is smooth and really not gritty at all. It actually tasted like a treat. There was no strange lingering flavor afterward. It’s sweet without being overwhelming and has that cookie dough vibe that feels like a cheat, even though it’s packed with good-for-you ingredients. I will definitely be repurchasing this bar in some different flavors. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed

Most protein snacks tend to be very chalky, but I’m very surprised this one isn’t! It does have it a little bit, but it’s normal in every protein bar. I’ll be definitely buying more in every single flavor!

It satisfied my sweet tooth and gave me the energy to finish my work day of teaching 6 year olds. Never seemed overly sweet. Soft consistency, not crumbly. These brand of protein bars are the only protein bars I have ever had that don’t have that weird aftertaste. These are amazing but my favorite is the glazed donut flavor.

I revived the cookie dough flavor and although I didn’t taste cookie dough, I did taste a very chewy, chocolaty and overall good tasting protein bar. I was surprised by the exterior layer of chocolate as it didn’t seem obvious that was going to be the case. The flavor is good, it’s the texture that gets me. It’s very chew and gummy. I think if it as a taffy mixed with caramel. It isn’t bad, but unexpected. If you aren’t on a plant based diet, there are better options out there.

The texture was good and the ingredients are pretty clean which I enjoy. A little bit higher carb than I like but isn’t bad compared to others. Overall it is a pretty good bar and would want to repurchase to try other flavors.
