Our large dog loves toys with fabric and ropes, but she destroys most of them within 24 hours. No toy is dog proof, but this is the only textile toy we have ever purchased that stands up to our dog for any length of time. Inside the double layers of fabric is a heavy rope. We just bought our 2nd one! Highly recommend for chewers.
I’m so sad! I bought this for my golden retriever pup (11 months old) and he chewed a hole within 10 mins. :( it’s right where the tag was so maybe if they made it so it didn’t have a tag? I might see if I can exchange for a new one and cut the tag off to see if that helps. It’s so cute and my dog loves it and would love to continue to play with it. If I can’t exchange it (or if I do and he rips a hole in that one, too) I’ll just take the stuffing out and see if he still loves it.
My puppies love it! However, it wasn't as durable as I hoped. They tore into within the hour and they were chasing each other around for it too. Wouldn't last very long if you just left it alone with your dog.
I looked this up online before seeing it in the store - this toy is actually very large! We bought it anyway to see how our pup likes it and it’s actually a bit too heavy for her. She’s 8 months old, 38 pounds and she can’t really fit her mouth around it and it’s heavy to grab. It’s not her favorite! She doesn’t really touch it. Would probably be better for a larger dog!
I have bought 3 of these my dog really loves this it .. last a good amount of time for my Cairn Terrier, when he finally destroys it I buy him another.. Cairns always manage to destroy their toys no matter how good they’re made
