If you want to keep your teeth, avoid these, the new formula is like rocks!
Like others who have waited on this thread, I have been using Tums for decades. They obviously changed something as the new ones are so much harder than before, they are literally like chewing rocks! I am honestly worried that I will break a tooth on these things. So if their objective is to put themselves out of business, they’re doing a very fine job of it. As as someone else said: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Works quickly, good taste.
First I gotta say is the taste is good! So if your someone doesn't like taking them for the chalky taste. These don't give that. Really does work quickly too. The price for them is worth it.

It still works but the tablets are harder and the taste is disgusting. I bought a bottle of citrus flavor and I thought there was an issue with the bottle. Bought a costco sized bottle of the usual berries flavor I usually bought just to find out they changed it and now it’s gross.

Like many other reviewers I hate the new Tums flavor. My suggestion is to either bring back the old Tums flavor or sell the formula to a competitor who can make it for us customers who want it back! I can NOT tolerate this garbage taste and will try other brands after being a loyal customer for decades.

Bring Back The Old Formula
Just opened a new bottle of TUMS extra strength (750) and discovered that unfavorable changes have been made to the product. First of all, the tablets are now hard to chew, because they compress them to a smaller size. Second, the “fruit flavors" do not taste good like they did before. Lastly, with the variance in ingredients, they don't seem to work as well. If anyone from GSK healthcare is reading this, please revert back to the old formula.

Used to be good
I have been using Tums the assorted fruit flavor for years - I don't know what they have done, but they taste horrid now. They are also very hard and not easy to chew. I will be looking for another antacid as I cannot get used to the new taste. I am very disappointed.

Since you have added the Crospovodine into the inactive ingredients the taste of your assorted fruit Tums is horrible. What was the reason for changing something for the worse. My family has been using Tums for years, but now I am in search of a more palatable replacement.

IF truly a changed formula - it's terrible
I have used TUMS for decades. When I was stuck, and offered a generic brand I was always so disappointed because they were awful compared to TUMS. Now it seems they all taste the same. I finally googled it because I had to know if it was just me or if they really did change the recipe/formula - and found this site. If I had to describe it, I'd say they are much harder and BLECH..... For the faithful, please let us know what's happened!!

Bottle of broken tums and some turned to dust
I love tums! However targets shipping was not good the protective packing was busted upon opening and the tums took a beating! Left a bunch of tums dust in the bottom of the jar as well as quite a bit of broken tums in they jar as well! I got this size so it would last me awhile not much of a price saving now! Please target wrap your shipping orders better please I’m disabled and am unable to return it to the store or post office

Idk what happened but these taste absolutely TERRIBLE! I even took a generic brand to compare and those were much better and restored my faith in antacids. Why on earth did they change the formulas? BARF and in the trash these go.

I have used tums for decades. Loved them. Always had them around even when traveling. Just bought new 750 Tropical Fruit and the recipe has DEFINITELY CHANGED and it tastes horrible! WHAT HAPPENED?? TUMS - please return to the old formula!
