The Turtle Wax Expandable Clothes Bar is a heavy duty, rubber coated steel bar. It hangs on the grab handle or clothes hooks within the vehicle. Extends from 31" to 59" (78.7 cm to 149.9 cm) and fits most cars, trucks, SUV's, and RV's. The soft grips with divider rings prevent clothes from sliding, making it great for travel or dry cleaning.

Q: Will this work if you slide all the clothes to one end so they don't block your rear view? I read somewhere else that might cause it to collapse.

A: Thank you for your inquiry into our Turtle Wax Clothes Bar item. While clothes can be pushed to the sides to avoid blocking your rear view, it is recommended that those clothes be evenly split between the 2 sides thus better securing the bar to the coat hanger hooks in the car.

Plastic, No Strength.
The plastic hooks couldn’t support the weight of the clothing. Garbage product. Fell down immediately. After putting it back up 5 time’s, i’ve given up.

Plastic hooks are worthless
The rod was solid. It the plastic hooks on the end are worthless. We installed in the car and loaded clothing onto the rod - it wasn’t very heavy at all, but were only a few miles down the road when one of the plastic hooks broke. Luckily there are also metal
Loops so we were able to use a zip tie and make the metal loop work for us.
