This daybed sofa makes a wonderfully cozy spot to curl up with its inviting form and plush upholstered cushioning. Additional comfort-minded and pretty features include a button tufted padded backrest with gently sloping, curved arms. A: Hello, this particular Daybed can fit two standard twin size mattresses. The recommended depth would be anywhere between 8-12 inches, but this all depends on what works best for you! I purchased this frame because I saw a Brand Expert state that the bottom mattress could be 8-12in thick. My mattresses are 12in thick. I received the frame first and built it so that it would be ready for the mattresses when they arrived. I realized that the opening under the top bed was about 11in so I was worried this wasn't going to fit. And after I built the frame for the bottom bed I became even more concerned. I got my mattresses the next day and the bottom did not fit. It looks like the max thickness would be 10in. This is so frustrating because I had to build the whole frame only to realize I need a thinner mattress.

I wanted a daybed trundle for my spare room so I could use it as my home office. It’s beautiful and Saturday. My sister visited and used it for 10 days and said it was comfortable. It helps conserve space for a small room.
