A: When used as a couch, this Nora Day Bed is 38 inches deep without any added pillows or cushions. The upper and lower portions each hold a standard twin mattress, which measures 38" wide x 75" long. It is not possible to join them into one bed surface.

I absolutely love this piece, other than the metal rivets on the one panel are misaligned. It's far too large to ship back, so we will keep as it is the best, most cost-effective option we've found after a lot of searching.

If you are gonna use as both a day bed and a mattress get one that is on the firmer side so the couch isn't too sinky. I ended up switching some mattresses around so the firmer one was on here. The furniture is sturdy and looks just like the picture.

The stlye and quality of the bed is amazing for the price. It took a little over 30 minutes to assemble but the instructions were right on. Very happy with me new daybed
