Q: Can you remove the plastic boarder to clean the board around the edges? Or no? If so, how would you do so?

The magnets are not very strong so the board falls every time you try to unclip the marker. And it’s very flimsy overall.

This board doesn't work well at all. The marker doesn't erase and disappear. Instead it comes off in like tiny little black specks that get all over your hands and everything. If you try using a different brand of marker (I tried expo - the most common dry erase brand) it doesn't even come off the board. I use other marker boards regularly and have never run into any of these issues. It's like this one isn't actually made of marker board material.

Will this white board stay up forever? totally. Will the adhesive that comes with it absolulety destroy your wall beyond patching? 100%. I've had this board up on my office wall for over a year. Decided to rearrange my office wall and when i went to remove this item it tore massive chunks of the plaster off the wall. Beyond a simple paint touch up. I am not excited to have to fix this.

We purchased this to put on the fridge for shopping/task lists and it’s perfect. It came with magnets to adhere to the back of the board, and the magnets and adhesive pads are great quality and adhere well. The marker works great and comes with an eraser on the cap (handy), and the board comes with a bonus magnet.

If you want a board that will stay on forever, this is it. Or use 3M Command strips instead to remove A LOT more easily in the future. When it is time to remove the board using the original adhesive strips, it's impossible to do it without damaging the drywall. I tried wedging a knife in and going slowly, still had this issue.

Marker is terrible. It was already dried out when I got the board and the lid was stuck on really tight with an adhesive I had to struggle to clear out of the cap and off the marker.
