Unique Loom Haka Deluxe Shag Collection Area Rug - Corriedale

This rug is gorgeous and feels great but the shedding is a big problem. Every time I walk into the room there are little fuzzies that have balled up on the hardwood floor outside the perimeter of the rug. Do not vacuum with a beater bar even though instructions say you can using a high pile setting. A quick once over filled the vacuum “tank” to the brim.

this thing sheds like its life depends on it. i wish i had never purchased this because i run the vacuum every single day to keep up with it. i wouldn’t be surprised if it disintegrates completely before the year is over.

I love everything about my new rug: color, texture, material, size, and the fact that it arrived so quickly. However, it is shedding large amounts of rug material. I have now vacuumed it six or seven times in an attempt to deal with the shedding. After each vacuum, I empty huge amounts of rug material; also there is a lot of dirt and constantly a white powder material in my vacuum. Because I like so many things about this rug, I decided to keep vacuuming until it hopefully stops shedding. Honestly, it is like having a huge hairy dog that is constantly dropping big clumps of fur. I’m very glad that you have asked for a review as I was about to contact the company and ask for suggestions to deal with the shedding, the white powder and dirt embedded in the rug material. Is the shedding and other materials part of owning a hand-tied rug made of natural materials? I appreciate any support and recommendations as I would like to keep this rug, if possible. She’d but so pretty. A delicate rug. Hard to vacuum with the rollers. I use the hand tool. Other than that it’s great.

This rug did not work in our space and had to return it. The color was much lighter and it was shedding A LOT! That may have subsided after vacuuming but we decided to return it. The return process was very easy.

Rug was thick. Shed like crazy and smelled funny. Not sure the exact way how to clean natural fiber rugs, but it was impossible to vacuum this.

It was my fault not to read the specifics on this being a natural fiber rug. It was beautiful. It smelled strange. It shed BAD. I did not keep the rug because there was no way this rug could have been vacuumed or cleaned effectively. Keep in mind, I know nothing about natural fiber rugs or how best to care for them. The colors were gorgeous. I rated it 1 star because of the smell and shedding.

I bought this rug a few days ago. It is not a shag rug. The rug is very cheaply made and it’s definitely not 1 inch thick . Not even a fourth of inch thick. Very cheaply made rug. I am so so disappointed.

It’s very soft, and fairly thick. I found the taupe color to be more gray than the tan I had hoped, but color perceptions vary. The shag pile reminds me of coiled tufts of wool, and I’m not sure how well that would play with all vacuums.

Love the feel of this rug. There is a bit of shed, but hoping that will slow down. Otherwise looks great in the room and comes as it appears in the description

Not happy with this rug at all. It sheds more than my two dogs! It also has very hard glue on strands to keep them in place and tiny wood chips all through the fibers. HORRIBLE QUALITY!

Horrible. This rug was completely falling apart the minute we opened it. It left fluff, dust and debris all over the house. We'll be cleaning it up for weeks! I cannot believe how poorly this rug was made.

I really would love to love this rug but it sheds horribly. I’m not sure how I’m going to keep it vacuumed because it plugs my vacuum every time. Would not recommend

I bought this rug four months ago. I like the way it looks, but it sheds horribly. I thought the shedding would subside over time, but it seems to be the opposite. It sheds more now than ever. It's like it's slowly falling apart. Buy something else.

Very soft. Looks good. Pictures online were not a perfect indicator but at least in the ballpark. This rug presently sheds a lot which is the current con. Our 1 year old loves picking out the pieces. I hope with time the shedding gets to near zero.

I would strongly suggest looking for another rug. This rug looks great when you put it down, but it sheds terribly and is impossible to clean.

Received this either already damaged or poorly constructed. Return it immediately.

This rug has not stopped shedding and keeps clogging my vaccuum. It looks good but pieces are constantly all over. Would not recommend
