Rug is very large and soft. Has a slight off white tint to it. Took one star down because one edge of the rug’s backing is wider than the shag by about 1/2 - 1 inch.

The rug is quite a bit thinner than I expected but as other reviews have noted it is exceptionally soft. It does have a bit of a silky sheen to it that I also wasn’t expecting but I’m overall pleased with the quality out of the bag. Definitely get a rug pad for under since it is so thin

Bought it for the kitchen. We have a dog that is missing a front leg and has a deformed remaining front leg.We have vinyl plank flooring which is hard and slippery. He loves spending time in the kitchen with me when i am cooking so we got this rug to make him more comfortable. It is now his favorite room in the house!!

Shag pile is long but not very thick. Big patches of the carpet backing can be seen by spreading the pile apart with your fingers. This rug got returned and I found other much better shag choices on this website.

The shag doesn’t even come to the very edges of the rug but instead begin an inch inward leaving the bare backing. It is highly noticeable and unappealing to the eye.
