I’m really happy I chose this rug! The color almost exactly matches natural wool which is what I wanted - but never again will I deal with the endless shedding of a wool rug. Pairs well with warm and cool neutrals as well as any other colors I might incorporate in the room. Brightens up the dark hardwood floors. The pile is just what I was looking for - short but dense and soft. Subtle distressed pattern is really pretty and made a big difference in pulling through & balancing out the other black elements in the room. The packaging was damaged during delivery resulting in blackish staining on one edge of the rug. I cleaned it with some Dawn dish detergent on a wet washcloth and it came right out! I can definitely see this holding up well for many years to come. Very pleased!
