Universal Pictures’ Wicked Glinda’s Glamorous Closet, 2 Unique Looks, Surprises & 13 Accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls and I love the new Wicked “Glinda’s Glamorous Closet!” The accessories are great to use with the dolls! My girls love the little carrying handle- it is just like the real thing! I just wish the large luggage trunk was all made of plastic- I am worried that the sides being cardboard will not hold up to a lot of use. I still think it is a great addition to our Wicked set! It is so fun to dress the dolls up and pretend just like the movie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Wicked Glinda Glamorous Closet set is SO cute! The packaging to open it up was quite minimal and mostly recyclable, which is always appreciated. The trunk design is quite clever - being about the height of the doll but shaped like trunks when closed and opens out to a closet scene complete with mirror, closet rod that swings out and a neat ankle stand that clicks into and can be stored in the trunk. The set comes with two outfits, a dress and a tank/skirt combo, two pairs of shoes, a purse, necklace, book, 2 folders, brush, headband and glasses. I do wish there was a third outfit with separates to further the mix-and-match options, but the fact that this set is clothes and accessories only is huge! I love being able to build out the closet for one doll. My daughter and I selected the shiz uniform doll to be the one we open . Compared to other fashion packs, this set offers a complete story from the stand placement in front of the mirror, to the seemingly magic trunk opening to a whole scene the glinda glamorous closet is memorable and a very welcome addition to our collection.

The wicked dolls are not included, but she already has Glinda and Elphaba, so this trunk with the outfits and accessories are the perfect addition to her dolls. She loves that the trunk opens like the trunks in the movie, and that the clothes can be hung in a certain place and all the accessories have their own shelf. The clothes and accessories can also be used with Barbie’s, so you don’t need the wicked dolls to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Glinda’s closet made my daughter shriek with joy! The high quality is exactly as expected! She loved putting all the accessories away while singing “Popular”. The coordinated outfits and accessories are adorable. This was easy to open and quick to put together; she was ready to play with the clothes and shoes right away. The color tones are so pretty and the little books are adorably fitting for the character! The accessories truly allow for fun open play and imaginations to soar!

We are a family of Wicked fans, and my tween absolutely LOVES Glinda, especially her fashion! I knew she'd adore this set, inspired by Miss Upland's incredible steamer trunks in the film. My daughter has the Deluxe (Bubble Dress) Glinda doll, and was excited to get additional accessories for her. She loves doing the "Blind" surprise bags, and although it shows what you get on the front packaging, she didn't notice, so was excited as she opened! They are cute little plastic bags in different colors covered in the Wicked logo and motifs. The case is a plastic structure with a thick cardboard for the 'faces' of the suitcases, but is sturdier than I expected after seeing a different review. The stacked set of luggage is really a two-door wardrobe with rod and shelving, a (blurry) mirror, and a bottom piece that folds down like a stage. The Gray surprise wrapping has a leg stand piece that snaps into the stage to hold and display your doll, but the piece has to pop out to close the case. There is a little handle at the top for easy carrying, too. The Purple surprise bag has an a-line dress that looks similar to her 'Dancing Through Life' one, but in lavender. It was really wrinkly, but is pretty good quality and the little puff sleeves are darling. It also had a little pink hanger with cute butterfly detailing. Inside the Pink surprise bag is a intricate floral lavender purse and a vibrant purple "jeweled" necklace that match well, along with a blue 'scarf' headband and pink glasses for the other outfit, and also a bright pink hairbrush with her "G" initial on the back. The Green surprise bag has the purple version of her "Dancing" heels, and cute pink heels that reminds me of the Broadway version of the Ozdust Ballroom shoes. Also a sturdy pink plastic book with her initial, that opens with illegible notes and a pencil in place. There is also two 'Ozmo' cardboard magazine covers, one featuring an ad for Wizomania on the back! The last Yellow surprise bag has what looks like her briefly seen 'Loathing' sparring outfit. It is a cute pleated light pink skirt, and a coordinating swirl-print tank top. Inside are two more of the butterfly hangers, too. Mattel lists this as $29.99 retail, which seems a bit pricey, but with probable upcoming holiday sales, 20% off puts this at $25ish, which is reasonable for two outfits and all the things included. My daughter has been playing with it for the past few days, and her younger sister asked if there was something similar available for her Elphaba doll.
