Aloe offers several skin benefits as a result of its natural proteolytic enzymes. Aloe leaves skin smooth and is helpful with oily skin, acne, psoriasis, or eczema. Aloe has natural proteolytic enzymes & moisturizes skin without feeling greasy.
We created Urban Hydration as a new mom and dad who wanted natural, sustainable skincare for our entire family. We created naturally inspired plant-based products and a company that gives back locally, nationally, and internationally. In 2017 we partnered with the nonprofit, WATERisLIFE to give a gallon of water to families in need with every product you purchase.
How to use: Wet face and hands with lukewarm water. Add a pea size drop to fingertips work into lather. Massage onto skin with a gentle, circular motion. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft towel.

Makes my skin feel clean without overly stripping. I have oily/combo acne prone skin. Removes makeup effectively and helps clear acne. Used with the matching lotion, helped to keep my skin moisturized without being too oily or shiny. Smells faintly of mint but not strong. The bottle easily could last 3 months or longer using twice daily. Rinses off easily and lathers well. My cheeks have some bumps and discoloration and this product seems to help smoothing and evening out those spots. If you have dryer skin, you might want to pair this with a more heavy moisturizer because the matching one is a lightweight gel type.

I have VERY dry skin! if you have dry skin i don’t recommend this product. i like the actual face wash because it is scent free, there’s a good amount in the bottle, i’m a huge fan of aloe in skin care, etc. i just particularly find that this wash leaves my face so so dry. love the product though! if you have more oily skin definitely give it a shot !

I really love how light this is. It's a great face wash. I'm not sure if it brightens just yet, which is why I gave it four not five. Since it's not harsh, it's perfect if you've been outside and exposed to the sun a lot. I use it especially for my after gym workouts and beach days.

Skin felt clean, not too dry, not too oily afterwards. Used it as the second step in a double-cleanse routine and it delivered, especially as a makeup remover. It’s a stable, clean formula, but I didn’t see much improvement in my texture or dark spots. I finished the bottle regardless!

I’m super picky when it comes to my face, and love this aloe face wash! The texture was a bit odd at first (you can feel the bits of aloe when rubbing your fingers together), but it cleans well and doesn’t overly dry my skin. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering. I have not noticed any increase in breakouts since using it, and it worked well in different climates (California, Florida, and Texas). Overall a great basic face wash for normal skin.
