Vanicream Medicated Anti-Dandruff Shampoo - 8 fl oz

I have severe immune allergies & cant use regular shampoo because of benzenes, hidden ingrediens in fragrances, & quats. This has been my shampoo for the past year paying this high price for 8oz but i spoke with the manufacturer & they weren’t very kind in keeping their product available on platforms like here at target where i could afford it & not get ripped off. The company wants a high shipping charge & i felt like i wasnt being treated fairly. Target is the only place where ill buy Vanicream dandruff shampoo for $10-$12 which is all i can afford! It wasnt available conveniently & consistently enough for me to ever buy this product again. I have since switched to a wholesale supply that makes a base i can use. Im done waisting my money on this. 8oz was also never enough. I would have paid $15 for a 24oz bottle but the manufacturer chose inflation & to pull their product to only be available on their site so they could charge high shipping fees. I will no longer be supporting vanicreams ethics. Taking advantage of my desperate need for necessities.

This is the best dandruff shampoo imo. My scalp is so sensitive and I love that this product is fragrance free. I have zero irritation and it’s completely fixed my dandruff issue, it’s 100% gone. I wouldn’t recommend for color treated hair, it’s pretty much wipes out color and toner, and I agree it’s also not hydrating. However I’ve paired this with a heavier redken conditioner to fix the hydration issue and as for the color it is what it is unfortunately. I’d rather get my hair done a few extra times a year than deal with an itchy flakey scalp.

I have been using this shampoo for years, It is the only shampoo that not only has the dandruff medication that works for my scalp but it is also sensitive enough to not cause other irritations.

This is nice to use once a month h in rotation with other products.

I have been using this product for a while recommended by a dermatologist. It is hard to find here in Houston Texas and way better than the other product.

Unfortunately like a few others have experienced, this turned my hair to straw after one use. I only used it on my scalp, but obviously you can’t avoid it rinsing down the rest of your hair. I’m really bummed!

This is the only dandruff shampoo that has actually cleared my seborrheic dermatitis. I also have a patch of psoriasis that flares up from time to time and this helps calm it down. Would recommend if your scalp is struggling!

I learned at 35 that the dry skin in my T-zone is actually a dermatitis. So I tried this on a dermatologist recommendation and I love it. I’ve been using it for months and I don’t have any issues with dry skin in my T-zone anymore.

This product has 100% fixed my dandruff! I’ve had dandruff flare-ups for the past 6 years and always struggle to find a product that fixes it. Within a week or 2 of using this shampoo (and only using it once or twice a week) my dandruff is completely gone. I’ve gone through a full bottle and just ordered another! Also it’s such a good price.

This stuff is magic! I saw it shown by a dermatologist on TikTok (embarrassing I know) and figured it was worth a try. My son has what is basically cradle cap (but at age 6) on his head. We have battled it for years. Using this…. It’s literally gone. I’m so happy!

Great for fragrance sensitive kids! Cleared up our toddler’s flaky scalp within a few uses. She’s wildly sensitive to fragranced anything on her skin so this was an amazing find. Kept her curls intact and not dry like other dandruff shampoos.

Turned hair to straw!

This brand is all I use in my hair now. Every once in a while I get adventurous and think I can try a more salon type product and always end up with a dry, itchy scalp. This is the only thing that works to heal my scalp.

this is quite literally the only thing that has worked for my scalp issues. sometimes i don’t use it and immediately my scalp is itchy and flakey so i’ll never stop using it i fear

This is the absolute BEST shampoo for dandruff I have ever used. I was having extremely bad dandruff that my scalp burned all day it was causing me so many problems, that I could not even get a good night's rest because my scalp always felt like it was on fire. I tried so many shampoos and was planning to go to a dermatologist. While making an order for their moisturizer (which is an amazing product as well), this shampoo came up as a recommendation, so I thought I might as well try it. Well, boy, am I glad I did. Within the 1st week of using this, the buring on my scalp was almost non-existent. By week 2, the burning was completely gone, and my dandruff was under control. 3 months later, there is still no burning and no dandruff. I refuse to put any other shampoo on my scalp!

Vanicream is super light on the scalp and non irritating. These products were recommended to me by my dermatologist. Super affordable and make all the difference.

Glad to finally have found a "clean" / "low tox" dandruff shampoo. I really like that there is no fragrance or perfume. I find the shampoo to be pretty concentrated, I only need to use just a little bit to get lots of suds! It cleans well and works effectively for the intended use.

Only Vanicream shampoo that work for my son. Recommend for sensitive normal to oily scalp.
