Q: It’s says box spring is not needed, but can I put a box spring on there to make the height of the bed a little taller?

I really like this design for my son. He does as well.. However,I’m disappointed that the brown board part is not actually real wood wood,it’s soft material..like plexi-board or something. It took a while to fix,lord hammercy lol,even with the drills lol. I wish it was higher,what’s going on with these low beds lately? My son is 14 years of age and 5’10 and growing. Putting the mattress on,it’s low and perfect for a toddler..now I gotta get a box spring to help raise the height of mattress. No space underneath -only shoes -no suitcase no nada. Great price. Love the little changing lights,and headboard storage,it can open-it’s soft to lean back and sit up reading a book or such-great idea.

The bed is durable and assembly was easy. My son has had it since April and he loves it. He especially loves the lights on the headboard. The outlet on the headboard is one of his favorite features as he can charge his phone and earbuds while sleeping and still have them close by to turn off his alarm in the morning. The headboard is designed perfectly for back support too. He’s 13 and decided to stash his stuffed animals in the headboard, but I catch him pulling them out to sleep with sometimes. Great bed for a teenager!

Fits our room well and is the perfect addition in our bedroom. The only thing is that sometimes when we plug something into the usb port to use the lighting my automatically comes on which seems to be an odd wiring issue. Other than that, works perfectly.
