The overall protective quality is great, however the aesthetic quality is incredibly poor. After a week, there was a ton of discoloration around the lip, around the camera lip, and on the logo on the back. The lip that also goes over the screen is too high and it’s very difficult to pull down the notification or accessibility screen from the top.

I got this case today and I am beyond confused. I have several other VC cases and they aren’t like this at all. The ones I have been purchasing from the VC website and Amazon have a two layer type of mechanism. It is a velvet covered matted rubber with a glossy plastic over it. This is my first purchase from target and I see that it is a flexible, glossy rubber and one layer. I tried to check their website to see if there are different types of cases they offer, but I’m not finding anything that suggests that. It also came in different packaging which leaves the case extremely exposed, to the point that it would be very easy for people to steal. Over all this is a pretty case and it claims to still be 10 foot drop proof and that there is a 2.5 mm bumper. I’m just scared it’s not going to offer the same protection and or not hold up as well.

It’s a really cute design - I opted for white because the black was out of stock. Unfortunately within 2 weeks the white around the edges started to fade and the back of the case is scuffed up. I’m not hard on my phone at all - it lays on my nightstand or table to charge and if it’s not in my hand, it’s in my purse. For $39.99 I expected the quality to be better than this. Because of the fading and scuff marks, I’ll be replacing this case soon and will likely not purchase from this company again.
