I've used Verb products before specifically the purple shampoo and every time I did, my hair would look great, which is rare for me. Recently, my hair had been looking dull and lifeless. I had been using Matrix Soft, but it just wasn't cutting it anymore my hair looked oily, flat, and somehow still dry, like it was always dirty. For reference, I usually love Bumble and Bumble's Gentle Shampoo or the Seaweed line, but they're not always within my budget. My hair is dry, damaged, thin, frizzy, curly, and generally weak. I also blow-dry and straighten it regularly. So I decided to try Verb's Ghost Shampoo, and once again, I'm impressed. Even just using it with the leftover Matrix conditioner I had, my hair came out shiny, soft, clean, and lightweight like it actually had life again. The scent is very light and non-offensive, nothing fancy. It's just a basic, effective cleansing shampoo that doesn't weigh my hair down or make it feel coated. I did hesitate to use it at first because of all the negative reviews, I didn't read until later, especially the ones about hair loss, but I remembered how well the purple shampoo worked for me in the past and gave it a shot. I'm glad I did. For the price, I think it's excellent. I'd definitely recommend it, though I understand why it can feel like a gamble given the mixed reviews.

I have thick curly hair, and this shampoo definitely isnt for me. This performs like a cheap shampoo. It doesnt feel like it's completely cleansing the scalp but at the same time makes my hair so dry. I used it with the condition and the conditioner is even worse. I can see this being better for people with fine, oily hair.
