Hey there, thanks for your feedback! We’d like to share that our new MOISTURE formula has been thoughtfully redesigned based on extensive research and valuable customer input. The new formula no longer includes Rice Protein but now features Hyaluronic Acid and natural ingredients like Shea Butter to deeply hydrate and revive dry, dull hair. We’ve received amazing reviews for this updated formulation and would love for you to give it a try—we hope you’ll love it just as much as the earlier version!

It could also be that typically when we start to use a new product, we’re more conscious of any adverse effects (like hair fall) – and naturally when we’re looking out for something, we’re bound to notice it more. Hair fall can also occur due to stress, hormonal and lifestyle changes, and the use of certain medication. If you’re certain none of those factors could be at play, we’d recommend talking to your healthcare professional as it might be that you have an intolerance or allergy to an ingredient in our products or another product you’re using. We want to assure you that many of the ingredients found in MONDAY are industry standard, and used across common salon brands - but that also means there’s a chance you could have issues in future with other similar products. If you think perhaps it could be a coincidence and you’d like to keep using MONDAY, give your hair a brush before you hop in the shower (to evenly distribute your natural oils and get rid of any knots), then try using your Conditioner before your Shampoo to increase hair slip and reduce the chance of pull/breakage. Its use is approved globally, up to a maximum concentration of 1%. MONDAY’s formulas strictly adhere to this limit, ensuring the ingredient is present only in safe and regulated amounts. Without preservatives like Phenoxyethanol, products would be at risk of contamination, which could pose more significant safety concerns. While Phenoxyethanol is synthetic, it is also naturally found in certain foods like green tea and berries. Preservatives—whether synthetic or natural—must be effective to do their job, and all carry some risk of sensitivity for certain individuals. That said, MONDAY’s products are dermatologically tested and meet all regulatory standards for safety. While we strive to make our formulas suitable for everyone, we understand that individual experiences may differ. So, we suggest shampooing twice and using the conditioner just on the ends to achieve the desired clean feeling. In the meantime, if you're open to exploring alternatives, we suggest trying our CLARIFY line.
