VERB Glossy Spray Heat Protector - 6.3oz - Ulta Beauty

I was really excited to try this GLOSSY line. I have loved every other Verb product that I have ever tried...so why would this be any different? We'll, it was. I have long, 2b hair. Its not "thick"...but its definitely not fine either. The shampoo doesn't lather...and the conditioner doesnt feel like it is conditioning anything. And never mind all of that...there is the scent. It literally smells like that big bucket of school glue paste you used in grammar school. The thick kind you had to take out of the container with a wooden ruler. Glue...it smells like glue. The GLOSSY spray doesnt work either. It left my hair feeling crunchy. Not soft. Not shiny. I actually have pretty shiny hair to begin with. I felt like this actually DULLED my hair more than it did add any more shine to it. I even tried using different amounts of the spray on different occasions, in case I had been using too much, or too little. No difference. Now the bottles just sit in my bathroom. They cost too much money to just throw away.

This makes my hair so soft and shiny when I use it. I like the other heat protectants VERB offers, too, but I this actually leaves your hair so glossy!

This is probably the 10th bottle I have bought - I love this product!

Unfortunately, I ended up returning this. I did not like the smell. If I felt it was amazing in all other aspects, I would have dealt with the smell, because it isn't strong and doesn't linger on my hair. However, I couldn't really tell that it was working. I didn't notice any improved shine. It's difficult to know if it was protecting from heat. It just did not measure up, especially considering the price.

I typically love Verb products, but from the get go this bottle does not spray at all so I can not use the product effectively.

The product itself works great especially for the price. But the nozzle is terrible. The spray is not a mist so it's not even dispersed. You have to make sure you comb it through evenly. Took off a star for that reason alone.

This is great, leaves my hair feeling super soft. The spray bottle isn’t maybe the best solution for how thick the product is—it doesn’t equally disperse the product onto the hair. Other than that, love the product.

I used the entire system, meaning shampoo, conditioner, and this spray. I added Redken One spray as well. My hair is shiny, soft, and not greasy. I am honestly surprised. How often does a hair product actually work like it says?!

I just used the spray for the first time today prior to cheat straightening my hair. I didn’t notice any shine or softness added by the spray. I don’t think it’s really worth the cost.

The fragrance is very mild which is great for those of us with sensitivity to fragrances. Only one thing I’d like to see change: the spray comes out as a stream (even in the first use of a new bottle) so it’s difficult to get even coverage. This has been the case with every bottle I’ve had, and I’ve been through several. I’ve tried cleaning the nozzle but with no luck. I do love the product so I’ll keep buying unless the fragrance changes as I see is happening with the other Verb lines.

It's works well

I love this product! I ran out and used a grocery store brand for a couple of weeks. Big mistake. My hair wasn’t happy! As soon as I started using Glossy Shine again, paired with Ghost Oil, my hair bounced back; super soft and flowy.

Really wanted to love this product. Unfortunately the spray nozzle is more of a stream not a mistake so it literally just sprays lines in your hair instead of covering a large are. Very disappointed. I will say the actual heat protector is great just not the application process

I dont usually have super strong opinions about heat protectants, but this one is rough. I have pretty thick hair with a slight wave, but even my thick hair couldnt handle the weight of this. It felt like it coated my hair, even when i used it on wet hair to blow dry. It doesnt leave a glossy finish, and the stickiness is too intense for me even after drying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product. I use it before heat styling my hair and since use have had no issues with heat damage. I would highly recommend this to people with fine hair that tends to get frizzy and damaged when heat styling.
