LOVE IT!
I have tried SO many daily sunscreens and this one is literally the best by a landslide!! it's literally a miracle sunscreen if you have sensitive skin. it's not greasy or oily and it doesn't leave a white cast at all. it's super lightweight and once it's absorbed my skin looks SO good!! the gel formula is literally perfect for keeping your skin hydrated and dewy. I also love that it has no fragrance. highly recommend it!!

I switched to Versed recently after Olay suddenly started irritating my skin after years of use! The positives are: it works, it's moisturizing, it does not irritate my skin at all, even if I accidentally put it on my undereye area, it does not pill and has no white cast. The one con for me is I do find it to be greasy. Others have called it dewy, and maybe I'm just not used to that, but I feel it on my face somewhat and I see it somewhat in the mirror and am not used to that look. I feel like my hair sticks to it, etc. Olay had a matte formula that was completely dry, but then it started making my skin red and burn so there's that. I am absolutely sticking with this. I just have to either get used to the dewy look, or maybe powder my face after. I look similar in color to the blonde pale model they show, and you can see that her forehead, etc, looks a bit greasy. Or dewy!

I had been using a very thick Kiehls moisturizer for the past few years, but was growing dissatisfied because it took a while to truly soak into the skin and if I put it on before going out the door I would start perspiring immediately. This moisturizer is perfect, it gives me that dewy look that the Kiehls did, but soaks in much more quickly. The bottle (plastic tube with a pump) is well made and stands up on my counter.

This is genuinely the best sunscreen I've ever used, and as someone with a darker complexion, I've used my fair share of sunscreens to see what works for me. This sunscreen is amazing. There's no white cast, it's moisturizing, lightweight, and best of all, doesn't pill. Not to mention how affordable it is compared to some other brands and formulations. I will say this though: it does have a dewy finish so if you have oily skin or sweat a lot, you may look greasy but if you have dry skin, this is perfect to use on top of a moisturizer.

I don't like this sunscreen as much as the old versed sunscreen. It feels nice, but I don't like the glowy aspect. As someone with oily skin, I don't need the help looking shiny. This sunscreen ends up making me look extra oily and it highlights my texture, so then I have to use another product to mattify my skin. I would just prefer if a staple product like this didn't require an extra step for me to get the look I want.

Change in sunscreen type
I bought this thinking it was the same as their previous sunscreen but in a new packaging. Unfortunately I was wrong. Their previous face sunscreen was a mineral sunscreen but this one is a chemical. I have an allergy to chemical sunscreen so I can’t use this. I wish they provided a mineral option because the old face spf was my favorite!

I have to be honest, I went without sunscreen for years! They were always tacky when applied, made your skin gray or burned your eyes. This is none of those! I actually can't wait to put this on! It glides on so smooth and leaves you with the prettiest, glowing, healthy skin. The bonus is that it's good for your skin with skin loving ingredients. Not a Good Replacemnet for Old Versed Sunscreen
I'm giving this 3 stars because it's not that it's a bad sunscreen. It works, it has not broken me out, it only has a light sunscreen smell. And I know this is a chemical sunscreen and not a mineral one like the old Guards Up. But this is not a replacement. First, it feels like it sits on my skin. I feel it hours later like a layer on my face. Second, it leaves my face feeling almost oily. I can't wear my liquid blush for fear of looking like an oil slick- I've taken to powder bronzer just to take off a mild sheen. This may work for some people, and maybe would work better for me in the winter while my skin is dryer. But it's not for me in the heat of summer.

My skin HATES this new formula. Guards Up Daily Mineral Suncreen was a staple product for me and something I used every day for yearssss. I am so sad they seemingly discontinued it and only have Good Defense in its place. Just a warning for anyone who previously loved facial suncreen from Versed amongst all these reviews given in exchange for free product.
