    The storage bag is a fail

    While I have been a vitamix customer for close to 30 years, and expected this immersion blender to deliver and so far ao good with soup. (Just received it today) I am disappointed that the storage bag: 1. It doesn’t tell me what fits 2. It doesn’t fit the Motor body, the blender stick, and the whisk. Only two items fit without risking damaging the others item. Wow! O have to store the whisk elsewhere. The storage bag is a fail.

    Why put plastic parts on an immersion blender?

    Incredibly disappointed to discover the plastic parts on bell guard and wish I'd caught that before purchasing. Plastic is not heat safe. I'll be returning to my less expensive and fully stainless steel immersion blender that won't cook plastic into my soup, thanks.

    Hi, the bell housing is to prevent scratching your pots and pans, and is made with a BPA-free, glass filled nylon.

    Lives up to the vitamin’s name

    I bought two no name ones before the scientist spend the money on this one and it does stand up to the Vitamix‘s name. It hasn’t burnt out on me like the other ones did or fall apart.. little improvements that could be made would be if the blades were angled more like the actual blender. I think it would cut finer than it does. Also, the grip isn’t as comfortable as some of the cheaper ones.

    Great everyday blending tool

    Best for making small batches of chutneys and sauces. Haven’t tried making smoothies yet. Has sufficient power to makes a smooth paste without adding too much water.

    High honor great projects

    I got ordered and arrived my place and I start use it. I’m loving it easy to use and more. Made mayonnaise and beat taste than store bought. Chopped onions and hand hand and wrist surgery and can’t use handle knife cut and more easy u than cutting hands. Quick and easy. Great job high quality built. Soon I gonna buy blender X4. Beat winner over Ninja !!! Ninja just like slow as turtle l. Vitamix like champs quick and powerful. Keep it up.

    Powerful But Compromised

    This blender feels solid in the hand, but the collar bit that locks the shaft to the motor is made with cheap plastic, and mine ended up snapping. This is literally the worst place to have cheapened out because when that plastic breaks the whole thing becomes useless and they refuse to sell replacement shafts so they are impossible to find, forcing me to go with a different brand. Another major issue is that the plastic blade guard is way too tall, which means you need a substantial amount of liquid to cover the entire head otherwise it spits liquid everywhere and creates a huge mess. Also the steps between power levels is awkward where 1-3 feel very weak, 4 is okay but still feels too weak for many applications, and 5 is complete overdrive. I wish it had a smoother gradient between power levels. In the right situation this blender works really well because on max power it's super powerful and I like the simple operation, but it's way too fragile with that plastic locking piece meaning it has no place in a serious kitchen, especially since Vitamix refuses to sell replacements.

    Game Changer

    I make a lot of soup. For years, I had a Cuisinart stick blender, which II thought was top of the line, but with it, my cream soup always came out chunky. Then I got the Vitamix Immersion blender, and it was like night and day. Completely smooth. Not one small chunk. Perfect. I'll never use anything but Vitamix again.

    Must hold ON button to work the entire time

    I bought the 5 speed immersion blender. Mixes well, but it very heavy, and you have to hold the power button on. This would feel worth the money if the power button stayed On. I did it for 5 minutes snd my arm and hand hurts and feel exhausted.

    Excellent results

    I bought the Vitamix immersion blender to replace another which just was not making it. So far I have used it with soups and jar dressings with excellent results. I substituted cashew butter with cashew nuts with perfect results.

    So glad I bought this

    The absolute best immersion blender I have ever owned. So powerful, it rivals my Vitamix blender. I use it to make individual smoothies. Don't get me wrong, I still use my regular Vitamix blender for larger quantities, but love the convenience of this immersion blender.

    5 speed blender

    I bought my 5 speed inmersion blender three months ago and it is a great product. I am able to do so many things that it has helped my time to prepare meals for my family. i definitely recommend this product.
