An excellent immersion blender that can do many chores. I like the ease of use and cleaning. The attachments are OK but the beater is a bit flimsy so use it carefully. I would defiantly recommend this blender. Breville stands behind their products.

One of the main reasons I bought this was it included a chopper blade. The chopping assembly is cheap plastic. I used it twice and it cracked. The third time it fell apart. Decided mine might have been defective and came on this site to by a new one. They are out of stock here and on other sites as well. So I'm assuming it's not just mine. If the whole assembly were metal, maybe it wouldn't break so easily.

I noticed a crack across the bottom of my chopping bowl yesterday as I was using it for the third time since purchase. I believe it is a design fault as I noticed when reading reviews on the product website that this is a common product complaint going back a number of years. I purchased this control grip immersion blender as I presumed the quality would be excellent, however I am disappointed that this issue has not been rectified. Overall the wand works very well.

I bought this about 2 years ago for the immersion blender. I've wound up using the mini food processor a lot more than the blender and have generally been quite happy with it. Yesterday when washing the top of the food processor, I noticed a lot of water inside the plastic housing. The water shakes out slowly and smells really bad. I can't figure out how to get all the water out. I always hand wash this part. The replacement part is not in stock. I wish this part was designed better to avoid trapping water.

Honestly, Breville NEVER disappoints !!! It's worth the extra investment to get the best. It checks all the boxes. I cook almost everything from scratch. so that's a lot of sous chef work. Cutting, chopping, mincing, blending.... I love this immersion blender. The design is so comfortable to use and I know Breville will stand behind the quality of this product. Also, love the stacking containers - the best for smaller kitchens like mine.

The stick blender works fine. I purchased because I fell in love with the ergonomic grip. The chopping bowl is a terrible experience. I try to use it to make salad dressings. Because there is no seal, I always have liquids shooting out, leaking everywhere, soaking towels. It’s useless. Why isn’t there a seal?

I got this as a Christmas present 2 years ago and love it! The only thing that could make it better would to be cordless. I make smoothies every morning with frozen fruit and my husband has a hard time with the sound of blenders. So I was searching for something that would provide me with a quieter sound but also multi functional. This fits the bill! What I wasn't expecting is that I can blend a smoothie faster with this than in a blender! 2+ years and still going strong. I have had a problem recently with the chopping bowl when I try to chop and blend anything with a liquid it has been leaking up and out, which it never did before. Tonight I noticed a small chip on the edge so I'm actually here to buy a replacement bowl, which I'm happy they sell!

I bought this a month ago so that I wouldn't have to break out my food processor for every small cooking job. This machine is better and more versatile than a cheap blender, and it is easy to use and clean. My only (small) complaint is that the lid on the small chopping bowl does not seal, so if you're not careful you can make a big mess with liquidy materials. Once that is understood, this machine has been a great asset and I highly recommend it, along with other great Breville appliances.

The speed of the immersion blender increases slowly as you turn the knob till speed #11 and then it goes into overdrive for 12 and 13. For this quality build you would expect something that controls smoothly with no huge power gap in the middle. This feels like the blender is going to burn up and break. The plasticware that comes with it (chopper and pitcher) seem like they will crack easily, although it has not happened yet

Breville, please make a sturdier chopping bowl

I mainly bought the immersion blender for my soups and sauces, but I thought the chopping bowl would be a nice feature to have a quick way to chop small things like garlic, jalapenos, basically soft stuff. I purchased this less than a year ago and I have used the chopping bowl literally three times and the third time, yesterday, I noticed a crack across the bottom and up the side of the bowl before I went to use it. So it cracked after using it only two times. Very disappointing considering I tend to buy Breville products for their sturdiness and quality of kitchen products. The immersion blender is wonderful. I love the fact that there are speed settings from 1-15 so I can adjust the speed. The handles is very ergonomic and it is perfect for my arthritic hand which makes it very easy and not difficult or tiring to use. Please Breville, come up with a better chopping bowl that is made of a thicker, sturdier plastic to replace this one.

I purchased my product less than two years ago and have used it a dozen or so times. I've been very pleased with the smoothies I make with it. A few days ago, I was pureeing a soup and almost right away, the motor overheated and just stopped. The blade seems to be locked up. The handle was hot for a long time after I unplugged it. The vegetables in the soup were cooked & soft, so it wasn’t as if the motor was being overworked. Loved the product but super disappointed in the durability.

Love the blender, strong and fast and effective and has done a ton of work for me. Chopping bowl cracks and chips easily and eventually becomes unusable, totally different story. How to get a replacement or a better bowl that fits?
