Q: Are these jars microwave safe? I know I remove the bands an lids before putting in the microwave.

A: Hi Sandy, thank you for your interest in our products. The Ball 16oz 4pk Glass Regular Mouth Mason Jar with Band and Lid Sunshine are not microwave or oven safe. They are made of annealed glass, not tempered glass and may break or crack in the oven or microwave.

A: Hello Kater! Thanks so much for your question! Regrettably, regular mouth pint jars (like the Sunshine jar) are not freezer safe. The only pint jar that is freezer safe is the wide mouth pint. We do not make a Sunshine jar in a wide mouth freezer safe option.

A: Hi Yassy, thank you for your interest in our products. The Lids are a one time use if you are canning, the bands can be used multiple times. If lids are used for canning, they can later be used for storing dry goods.

The best healthy alternative to plastic containers

These are perfect size for a drink or juice, but they come with a lid that is air tight and can be used as storage in the pantry or the fridge. I am so happy to have Mason jars as a healthy alternative to plastic containers. They don't hold a smell and they are super easy to clean - just throw them in the dishwasher!
