Vitamix Explorian Series E310 10 Speed Blender

I've always wanted a Vitamix but thought they were too expensive. For years I've heard my friends rave about them. Well, finally after two blenders died on me this year I decided to make the investment and I wish I had done it sooner. I love my Vitamix. I use it for soups, smoothies, desserts, and fancy drinks!

I make smoothies on a daily basis and the Blender Recommender suggested this model. It just does not effectively blend frozen berries and bananas. In fact, it doesn't blend dry foods like dates very well either. I have to hold the blender container firmly to keep it from bouncing around. I've tried multiple ways to blend using the variable speed control, to no avail.

I needed something strong enough to blend celery and greens - the Vitamix makes easy work of it!

First time owning a Vitamix blender and it has not disappointed! I love using my blender daily! I make smoothies almost daily and it is so much better than my older blender. It mixes frozen fruit like a hot knife through butter. Easier to clean than my old traditional blender.

I have wanted a Vitamix for years. I thought for sure it would be replacing the cheaper blender that’s I have had for the last two years. However, I find that when I’m making things like hummus or a smoothie that is packed full I have to go back to my old mixer because the Vitamix doesn’t even begin to break down the contents. Extremely disappointed with this purchase.

Does pretty good on all my coffee shop drinks. Could've been a bit better

So far the blender works great. It's the smaller size, so won't make large batches, but it fits perfectly in our cabinets which is the reason we got this size. It's very easy to use and simple to clean, which is awesome. It also blends very well. So far I like it.

This is an amazing kitchen tool. I’m so glad I got it. I was u sure which machine to choose but the website had quiz to help give me a recommendation. I don’t think you can choos a wrong one. They all blend wonderfully!

We are two senior people, who use a blender two to three times per day to make smoothies and sauces. Started with a reversed, threaded, high speed design machine (not Vitamix). Machine was too tight to loosen, noisy and unreliable. It did produce a very smooth result. Switched to a top loading machine (not Vitamix) but speed was not high enough to blend smooth. Produced lumpy smoothies. Purchased the Vitamix E310, two months ago. It has more than satisfied all our requirements. Hesitant to purchase in the past due to price. Shouldn’t have.

The high power motor is loud, early morning smoothies with people sleeping is challenging. It does make the smoothest smoothies though! I also love the pulse switch for when you want to just roughly chop whatever contents is in there.

I bought this Vitamix primarily because I couldn’t blend lentils with my blender. It is amazing how smooth and creamy my lentil mix gets for me to make my lentil bread. I also blend my vegetable soups and have done a couple of their recipes. Even the hot soup. So happy!

The screw that does the spinning is floppy now leaving the motor to work by itself. Can't blend. Loud and awkward noises. I've had it five years.

Good and powerful but after trying to mix half frozen fruits, something happened to the machine and now it’s not functioning as it’s supposed to.

I got a refurbished version of this and it is amazing. I mostly make smoothies, soup, sauces and dips. Although you can't overload it or use minimal liquid overwise it will shut down. Having bought it refurbished it makes it more sustainable so I am happy they provide that. I wish they sold these with a glass container because heating the plastic container leaches carcinogenic chemicals into your food. That is not good from a health standpoint. Aside from that it seems like a quality product and I hope it lasts for years to come.

I had a professional model for 13 years and bought this one recently after taking the quiz online. It’s okay but very basic and my fruit doesn’t get totally chopped up in my smoothie. Also it still is off gassing.

Love this vitamix! Had an older one and had to get a new one….. exceeded my expectations!

Nice simple machine. Grinds well and easy to clean

I'm quite pleased with this VitaMix. I received the unit as a Christmas gift. I cook New Mexican cuisine quite often with one of the foods that I cook being New Mexico red chile. My old blender did an good job of cutting up the chile pods but, I always had to run the red chile through a sieve to get a smooth a texture. I no longer have to do that with the VitaMix. This unit actually saves me two steps when I make my red chile. The unit pulverizes the red chile pods so thoroughly that I no longer have to use a sieve and the chile is thickened just from the blended chile pods. Further, the VitaMix heats the red chile so that I don't have to simmer my red chile on the stove top to heat it to a safe temperature and to reduce the red chile to thicken it. I've been experimenting and this Vitamix will do an excellent job when I make New Mexico green chile sauce for my recipes. I am quite glad that I received my VitaMix at the holidays.

Purchased primarily for frozen fruit smoothies. It definitely does the job and I've discovered other uses as well

It's so easy to clean that I'm using it almost everyday. I don't need to remove any parts to clean it. I get to have fruits more often now. The fruit smoothies I make are just like what you buy.
