NutriBullet Blender 1200 Watts: Countertop Smoothie Blender, 64oz Capacity, 3 Speeds, Stainless Steel Blades, Dark Gray

I have bought this blender 3 months ago to replace an older nutribullet model that started to make a strange noise (other than that, it was still working OK and made super smooth smoothies, pestos, pancake batter, etc.). The things I like about it: 1. Size of the pitcher is great - 1.6 l is enough for a decent family-size smoothie, which we are making every day. 2. Suction cups work well, and with this size and weight is a welcome prt of the design. 3. Buttons / functions are OK. 4. Nice to have the option to ise it with warm (hot??) liquids, although we are yet to try this. The things I am not crazy about: 1. It does not fully blend frozen fruit. The issue seems to be with the design, the blades are not long enough to the size of the pitcher, leaving enough gap for things not to be blended (even when leaving on for beyond a minute and stirring a few times). 2. The lip is too wide, makes it awkward and messy to pour. 3. Cleaning - unsure how to do this easier, as hand-washing doesn’t do a good enough job. Will try dishwasher next, although I am worried with the dirty liquid getting stuck on the top. 4. It’s fairly loud. Was hoping, it being a newer machine to be less noisy (although still better than the previous one.) 5. Difficult to get out all the content. Maybe there should be a special spatula-like thing (a kind of thing the Dutch have as “schraper”) to get more out than what can be poured out. And a couple of confusing things: it’s unclear how hot the hot liquid can be that can go in there without damaging the machine. Also, most nutribullets say, the blades are not dishwasher safe but then they cannot be removed from the pitcher. So, would I return? Probably not. But, if there was an upgrade made with addressing the above design points, would be happy to swap it for that 😁.

I was hoping to make good nut butter as that is what the unit touts. However, it doesn't to be honest. I followed the recipe for almond butter that comes in the recipe book with the blender. Followed the instructions accurately for two separate batches. And in both cases the outcome more resembles dry crumbly almond flour than creamy almond butter. Very disappointing.

Its ok but not very good at breaking up ice, i wouldnt recommend it.

Good for making smoothie drinks. Works really well. Just a little big and can take up space

Every smoothie ends up with chuncks of frozen berries. No matter how many times I stop it, shake it, and run again

Big and powerful, this feels as if it will liquidise anything. It’s noisy on high but I’ll bear it for the power.

Cannot even blend frozen fruit. Only useful if you are blending soft foods. Started smoking with a frozen banana.

Easy to clean IF* you do so right after using. Tip: add a little soap and water and place it back on the base. Run to clean and voila, most of the work is done for you! If you are used to a Ninja, slightly adjust expectations. Use the tamper, be patient and you’ll still have a great smoothie or whatever you are making.

I bought a cheap similar machine and put it in the bin and bought this instead. It’s brilliant for juicing and blending. Great purchase.

Works perfect but you can't remove the blades so eventually gunk builds up and you can't clean it well. Kind of gross that you can't remove the center section.

I absolutely love my blender! It blends very well, blades are big and sharp, and the motor is very strong! Definitely 1 of the best! Really easy to clean

When making smoothies the frozen strawberries stay whole and just go around and around not don’t getting chopped up. Very frustrating.

I have used nutribullet for since 2015 and still have my first purchase. When this blender was available it was a no brainier as needed a reliable appliance and this does so much.. and so quiet it even blende my hot mushrooms to make soup…brilliant I have 3 nutribullets fir smoothies small blender and now this larger amazing blender

This blender seems great at first, until you try to clean the blades! The blades are so small (also not great for frozen fruit) which makes it impossible to clean all of the way. I’ve tried Powerwash spray, blending soap and ice (internet hack), and good ole elbow grease, but nothing can get all of the gunk off.

The nutribullet blender is faster than my old blender, easy to clean and holds a large amount.

I love making smoothies with frozen fruit or fresh fruit and ice. Most blenders can struggle with this. This blender is absolutely fantastic. Blends ice like its water. Love the blender.
